Ended up leaving the next day, room above me woke me up at 4 in the morning, lousy sleep. They would not even think of refunding me for the second night, when they knew they could fill the vacancy with a walk in. Someone made some extra money and left me paying 391.00 for a night I didn’t stay, very disappointed!

We picked this property because of its location. Convient to downtown Bar Harbor. The facility is dated and shows its age. The staff is rude and uncaring. Went to office day one to let them know we could get no tv reception. Their comment was “we are on an island you know “. Be prepared the tv reception is almost nonexistent between 5pm and midnight when everyone is on the internet. If you do not have a tv service you can log onto you will not be able to see network channels. Just the ones no one wants to see. We had three couples with three rooms. We were all in one suv. Staff came running out of office and shouted because we were over the line with the suv. We told her we could be inthree cars and take up three spaces. No coffeemaker or microwave in room.

I knew Bar Harbor was a very expensive destination but the amount we paid for a Motel 6 like room is unreal. It does have a convenient location and staff were friendly but it is run down and the mattress was very uncomfortable. The tv had no cable only Roku that didn’t work at night.

Perfectly placed for ease of access off the main route, quick walk to town and waterfront but away from the main hustle so quieter. The ladies on the front desk are so warm, welcoming and helpful. We had everything we could need in a clean and comfortable room. Perfect for what we needed.

Location perfect for visiting Bar Harbor. However the motel is very out dated. Mattress is very old and soft. Drains do not drain well. Toilet seat was falling off. No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Upstairs walkway unlevel and could be a potential issue for someone with mobility or sight difficulties.

I liked the ability to walk into the heart of downtown Bar Harbor and the proximity of restaurants. The outdoors lawn and seating area was also a nice feature. Our TV did not work after the first few hours of a multi-day stay and we were told that reception was internet dependent and sketchy at times. This was a big inconvenience not getting weather, news and sports shows. The high cost of the room would suggest they need to provide more reliable service.

Very clean, staff are exceptional. Super convenient to walk to most places. Easy parking. It is an older property so don’t expect it to be perfect. If people walking above you bothers you get a downstairs room. Highly recommended.
