The motel advertised itself as it was - a dated, but conveniently located stay. There was an interesting aroma in the room of mildew and years gone by smoke, but the room itself was clean. Very limited electrical outlets for phone chargers and easy to hear neighbors move and walk around.

They advertised one price for a 4-person room, and then added an extra $10 for our 10 year old son - although were only a family of three.

Great location in Bar Harbor. Friendly and helpful staff. The furnishings could have a more functional layout; and power sockets more accessible to recharge phone. Overall an enjoyable stay.

I liked that you could bring dogs and they were very laid back about it. It was in a great location as well. Also, the bed was surprisingly very comfortable. However, There was a very strong smell in the room. Musty or something. The shower was terrible. It shut off about a minute in then turned back on at a low pressure that was freezing. The toilet took about 3 flushes to go down and the rooms were very dated. I wouldn’t have minded as much if the room was reasonably priced. I found $200 for that quality to be pretty steep.

The location of the motel was great, right in the heart of bar harbor and close to all the shops & restaurants. 10 minutes into Acadia. The rooms are extremely dated, they could put a little effort into the updates and really make a difference. The beds were comfortable but the sheets and bedding are so old, the sheets were as soft as sleeping with a newspaper. The bathroom was also very old but relatively clean. The shower curtain was this ugly tan color that looks disgusting when wet, another easy upgrade they could easily do. They had Pantene soaps which was nice, no conditioner though. Overall, we only stayed for one night and booked kind of last minute so we ended up here. Fine for the one night but would recommend many other places in town before coming back here. This place just needs a little love and it could be a lot nicer.

Old school motel with a nice lawn area and within walking distance to downtown. Satisfactory for the budget-minded. Creaky floors, can hear neighboring footprints but didn't have to endure any voices. Free coffee in office at 6:30 could start earlier.

This is a 1960s-style motel with clean but dated rooms. The staff was very helpful, and the location is great. Plenty of parking.

Expensive, uncomfortable, no breakfast, small room.

Good, well-managed, basic accommodations...nothing fancy. Pleasant, helpful staff. Great location for exploring the town and water front...10 minute walk. Easy access to Acadia National Park.

This is an older motel but it turned out great for our 3 day stay. it is only about 4 blocks from Main Street, Bar Harbor and makes it very convenient to get to all the restaurants and stores in the area. It is far enough away from the busier streets that it is quiet at night, It is about 3 minutes from a side entrance to Acadia NP so once you have your park pass, you can enter Acadia very quickly.
