Staff was so friendly. The views were amazing, and the breakfast was really good.
Spacious rooms!
Beautiful view
Friendly staff, spacious room, beautiful views.
I booked a pet friendly room that is located in the basement (or the ground floor). The first time when we entered the room, we saw a giant ant wandering around in the floor. The second night we saw a cockroach, though a tiny one. The room is also quite humid, and smells bad. That's understandable, as the room is being located on the ground floor. In my opinion, it should not be used as a guest room. If being used as guest room, more mtigations are needed to imrove guests expreience.
Proximity to everything
The property shows it's age but the room had some recent reno and was clean which is most important to me. There was an odd smell but we opened the patio door and bathroom window for a nice cross breeze which helped clear it up. Breakfast was only ok. Gentleman had difficult time keeping food and beverage options full.
The property has a wonderful view from every room. It provided a free, hot breakfast each morning. The walk to town as about 15 minutes (1 mile), downhill on the way and uphill on the way back.
Views from the room were gorgeous. Service and cleanliness was fantastic.
close to national park
What a gem of a find for us. Reasonable rates led us there and all expectations exceeded
Super clean. Beautiful views of the mountains. The staff was pleasant. Overall we had a great experience.
All the workers that I met was very helpful and friendly despite the covid times - They went out of the way for any special requests - gave me lots of local information- the room was awesome- geat views - i plan to travel back to Bar Harbor and i will definitely stay at this hotel
Wonderful stay !!! We are so Happy to be back to stay with them !!!!
The view from our room was spectacular! Staff was friendly. Our room was simple and clean; the mini-fridge and microwave were an added bonus. The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast, nothing fancy but everything we needed to get our day started. We stayed at a more well known chain hotel for the first 3 nights of our trip, but wish we had stayed at the Eyrie the whole time instead. We plan on staying here again.
Great view from an upper level room (floors 3 or 4). The front desk (male) check-in staff was a little grouchy, but o.k.. Wish the elevator was bigger and there wasn't a big bump up and down the floor level onto the balcony where you walk to your room.
