Wonderful lodge close to Acadia entrance, best breakfast for a hotel. Bruce the manager is wonderful! We stayed in room with balcony & Ocean view which did not disappoint! Only had one odd encounter w night shift desk staff in the am who I think just needed more rest. Would stay again & recommend.

We loved the convenience to Acadia from this property and downtown Bar Harbor. Property was clean and comfortable. Loved that breakfast was offered too! Shuttle was convenient as well. Will definitely stay here on our next visit to Acadia!

Bar Harbor Stay

Perfect stay place was clean and easy to get around and get help if needed. Shuttle comes right to door was so perfect instead of fighting to find parking.

Stayed at the property, one would think this is a relatively good property and all of the rooms at least on photos have decent AC units in this particular room that I was in it’s on a third floor, on the section above the driveway and it had a built-in 5000 BTU conditioner that sounded like the train wreck. In addition, the water pressure was very iffy. This section seems to be an afterthought that was just built, but it should literally be called out or at least have photos of those room rooms because they are just not the same.

Great choice

Very unassuming place with many rooms overlooking garden, pool and Sound. Comfortable and spacious. Great location! Close to Acadia. Good buffet breakfast with fresh baked muffins. Shuttle to Bar Harbor stops at hotel, then you can connect to all other shuttles if you choose. Photos don’t do it justice!

The hotel was very nice. While it’s not luxury it was very clean, great staff and very close to town. Our room on the 4th floor had a great view of Frenchman’s Bay.

Basic hotel

Somewhat spartan hotel. Very difficult to to use a cart to move luggage to our room due to high thresholds. No housekeeping services. The only amenities were soap, shampoo, and conditioner. It is a stretch to give this hotel three stars.

Wonderful view of Bar Harbor from our ocean view room. Tasty breakfast with eggs, bacon, French toast sticks, muffins/bagels, and yogurt. Very easy access to Acadia National Park Loop Road and close to Bar Harbor.

Wonderful hotel wonderful view.

Wonderful place, our room, and every room as view of bar island and and it is amazing. Outdoor pool is very nice, and patio has a great view also. Island bus stops at the front door. Take the bus to town and get on buses that go around the park from there. The buses a can be crowded, but that is because it very difficult to park in town or in the park. Breakfast is very good.
