The property is very well maintained, nice room, extremely clean and well taken care of. People are helpful, giving directions, helped with planning the days with tips and tricks. This was an amazing experience to stay at Island Place. Location is very close to the center, but far enough to stay quiet. Great place.

Ideal stay, reasonably priced. There’s nothing flashy about property but it is well kept and cared for. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The parking is perfect and its location made everything walkable. Will stay here again.

Island Place is an amazing stay to visit Bar Harbor and Acadia. The hotel is clean and well maintained and walking distance from downtown and the Village Green. We were able to walk to the shuttle buses instead of driving. Maureen and everyone there are the nicest people we've encountered at a hotel ever. They have amazing recommendations and made us feel like home. We are eager to come back!

Had no idea what I was doing when I planned our first trip to Acadia. Island Place was really a surprise gem and was the PERFECT base for us. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Main Street, so you’re walking distance to everything but far away from the crowds. Super convenient to get to Bar Island and to drive to the main roads. And the free parking spot took all the potential headache out of finding a spot for the car. Maureen and the rest of the staff were so friendly and welcoming, always saying hello and asking about our trip. The room itself was clean, comfy, and quiet. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

We had such a wonderful stay at Island Place! Kim was so friendly when she checked us in and gave us so much helpful information about the area. The location couldn’t be better—an easy walk to downtown Bar Harbor and just a quick drive to Acadia National Park. Parking right out front was super convenient. The rooms were immaculate, cute, and perfectly quaint. We loved having a sitting area right outside our room on the deck to relax and drink some coffee, and the gardens were absolutely beautiful. We even met the owner as we were checking out, and she was so kind and personable. We’ll definitely stay here again for both the cleanliness and the unbeatable location. Highly recommend!

This was a wonderful and clean place to stay. Melissa and Maureen were incredibly helpful and provided plenty of assistance and information about popular restaurants and activities in the area. Location was perfect to take a quick walk to town for shopping, food and activities without having to pay for parking in the main part of town. Highly recomend staying here and would love to stay here again.

Property is conveniently located off Rt 3 and it is a very leisurely 5-7 minute walk to the main strip and harbor area so no need to drive if you don't want to. Rooms are clean and well kept, queen bed was very comfortable. Free ice and water refill station in check in area are convenient and much appreciated. Ladies that keep the check in desk are very friendly and will offer recommendations for food and activities. Rooms are relatively quiet considering proximity to the main road. Worth it for the convenience. Would love to stay here again!
