Cromwell Harbor is located just outside all of the hustle of Bar Harbor, Maine, but a quick 5 minute walk gets you there. The room was large and had all the basic necessities- microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker. Parking was easy and free.

The Cromwell was quaint, quiet and very clean. It is a family owned motel and they provided excellent service, and were very friendly. Our room was very big, so we had lots of room, had a mini fridge, and everything you need. Although it isn’t fancy, and the furniture is a little older, everything was in great shape and super clean. It is about a 5 to 7 minute walk to get into the heart of town. Which worked out well for us. We enjoyed our stay there very much and would go back in the future.

I liked the roominess of the room and the two luggage holders so no one has to crawl around on the floor to open their suitcase. The shower was safe with two handles for getting in and out of the tub. The motel is located down Main St but far enough away from all the noise and traffic. Easy to get around town. Also located close to the hospital to visit someone.

My husband and I have never been to Bar Harbor. We went for four days where we stayed at this amazing hotel. The place was clean, nice well-maintained. The owners were so pleasant so friendly. Anything you asked for you had it? It was awesome. The only thing I would recommend is if you have an issue with stairs request the first floor there is no landing on the stairs as you go up to the second floor but overall could not ask for a better place. My husband and I have both said we will go back and stay there again it was

This is really a wonderful facility, and the staff/owner was very professional, gracious, and pleasant. The room was quite nice. The problem we had is that it is a little bit too far to walk to downtown, which is kind of important because the parking and downtown Bar Harbor is absolutely horrendous.

Very helpful front desk. Excellent recommendations for restaurants. Helpful with requests for more decaf coffee and iron. :-) Overall, we liked the spacious room. Parking was easy since the motel has their own parking. The area was quiet, but only a short walk to the Village Green, the Shore Path, restaurants and shops (and Island Explorer buses). Only a short drive to get into Acadia NP. Would stay here again.

Just spent 1 night but it was perfect. Huge bed and a straight walk into town. Weird that our room had a maid closet and it was the last room so Expedia raised the price as I was booking but no regrets! Great room close to town so I was happy not to move the car.
