Very clean, pleasant place to stay and only a short drive to Mount Desert Island/Bar Harbor/Acadia!

Clean older motel, close to the road with road noise

Great time at isleview! Good place to stay not too far away from the park!

bathroom was to small almost had to jump over stool to get in shower

The room is close to the road, so the traffic noise is very loud.

We loved the fire pit provided. We roasted marshmallows and made smores. The kids loved that. The rooms were small and old, but clean. Beds were comfortable. Close to Acadia and restaurants. If you just need a place to sleep after hiking or sightseeing all day it provides this. Good value as the price was good. No pool, breakfast or other amenities. But we knew that going in.

Owner was not polite.. they just want business .. not customer satisfaction..

Stayed here two nights while visiting Acadia Natioanl Park. Great location and you'll never find a cleaner hotel. Only problem is the rooms are terribly small; add a small space heater in one corner, and a large fan/ air conditioning unit with a six inch hose vented to the outside, and you barely have room to turn around. coffee maker in bathroom. If you only plan to sleep here, it is run by friendly, hard working people and should meet your needs. Rates are OK for the area, better deals away from the park.

Room was small and old. Bed had a ridge down the middle, like the center support was too high. Walls were thin, and we could hear the neighbors. Shower was tiny, and had rusting hardware. There is a lot of traffic noise from the road outside. Next time I go to Bar Harbor, I will stay somewhere else.

This place is the worst I have ever stayed. The room is located very close to the highway (fewer than 20 meters away). You can hear almost every car that passes by. The room is so small that it only fits a bed, a tea table and two chairs. The bathroom is also ridiculously tiny. The toilet already blocks half of the entry to a walk-in shower and you have to squeeze yourself into the shower. The walk-in shower is outdated and poorly maintained. The plastic wall of the shower enclosure is filthy while the shower head and the knob are rusted. The water coming out was so murky that it had to run for 10 min before turning clear. The water supply is also erratic, making sudden changes from too hot to too cold from time to time. The bathroom door cannot get shut and makes annoying squeak sound whenever it turns. There was even a fly buzzing in the bathroom. Though free wifi is supposed to be provided, there is barely any wifi signal in the room and the connection keeps dropping off. Same for the hair dryer— supposed to be provided, but never found during our stay. What made it outrageous was that we were even threatened to get charged for its “loss" afterwards. With the amount of money that we paid, we have stayed at a much cleaner and larger room in a properly maintained inn in Bar Harbor during our trip. Do yourself a favor and avoid this outdated and poorly maintained inn.

Wood on the door needs repairing and room is outdated but clean,

This was a guest that made a same day reservation (which are ALWAYS non-refundable as stated when they booked) they tried to cancel it 12 hours later (8pm) saying they didn't want the room and were upset they would still be charged. I am sorry but these policies are necessary for a small business (and even larger ones)
