Bluenose was a great location. Friendly staff, very nice facilities.

I honestly felt a little jipped. The two star hotel called Atlantic Eyrie Lodge was much better . Bluenose had misleading photos of the room- the view is pointless as it is in front of the hotel and you have to close curtains or everyone can see you. The AC was broken - the phone didn’t work- the door handles were broken- front door wouldn’t lock. It was run down at best

It’s just an ok hotel... rooms are really run down, red carpet form the 80s filled with dust. Outlets didn’t work, really run down and dirty. Far too overpriced for what is an equivalent of a motel 6... which would have been $80 cheaper a night... would not return

Very nice location, a bit old fashion. Easy walk into town.

The reviews didn’t match my experience. Maybe if you stayed in the main building it would have been better. My room wasn’t very clean and there were stains on the chairs. For the price I expected much better. I wouldn’t stay there again

Kids LOVED the pools and the close proximity to in town was perfect.

Our view was incredible, the staff were so friendly and the amenities was fantastic

the pools were nice and clean and great views. the food was NOT the level I expected - it wasn't very good at all. The Looking Glass Restaurant was horrible. It ruined the trip

Love the indoor pool, the incredible views, the room with separate living area, the Keurig cups, the cookies, the wonderful service, and the pianist in the Grand room.

Huge, well appointed rooms. Beautiful view from the balcony. Nice piano music in the evening

Road conditions was a pain but Bluenose was great.

Old style, small room, old supplies Ac dropping water at carpet, Coffee machine and small refrigerator in the bathroom

Nice Room, unfortunately major construction on the road (very noisy)

When arrived said our room was upgraded. Certainly did not seem like at upgrade. Room door was accessible from outside parking lot which was not made clear in hotel description. Would never have booked if known that from a security standpoint. Restaurant was only available for half hour in evening. What can be made and eaten in half hour?!! Had to walk up a hill to get to breakfast.

Upgrade for the view, but expect to be upcharged for everything. Inflexible reservations, dated decor and amenities. Would rather have stayed an extra day at The Grand.

Nice accommodations, satisfying breakfast, clean room

The hotel is a bit old, but it has been maintained well. It is conveniently located for making trips to Bar Harbor or day trips in Acadia National Park. The staff was always helpful and professional. They have an OUTSTANDING pianist that plays every night for your pleasure.

The breakfast was not very good and the space was too limited for the number of people attending. Also the living room off the lobby looked wonderful but was closed during the daytime so there was no nice place to relax other than in your room.
