The views were extraordinary. The service was mixed. The bed smelled like smoke and I couldn't sleep at all the 1st night. They reluctantly took $200 off a $500 room . I stayed 6 nights, totalling $3000. The $200 felt insufficient. They did clean the room very well and the smell was better by the 2nd day

The Bluenose Inn is a magnificent establishment. Beautifully decorated, wide open spaces, friendly and helpful staff. The piano bar is a relaxing retreat after a day at shopping nearby. The accessible room we stayed in was huge with an electric fireplace and a very comfortable bed. Shuttle service to shopping and restaurant area every half hour was very helpful. I would highly recommend This hotel when staying in Bar Harbor.

We stayed at the Bluenose Inn for the last 2-day leg of our road trip honeymoon. It served as a wonderful home base as we explored Acadia National Park. Our room was beautiful with a view of the ocean. We enjoyed the several wonderful amenities such as the restaurant and the lounge. Would recommend to anyone looking for high quality accommodations for their stay in Bar Harbor!

We enjoyed the ocean view and the room of the new building. Everything is new and the decorations are artistic. Also, the pianist was so good that we wish we came here before this time. We'll definitely come back.

Very nice property close to Bar Harbor (walking distance, shuttle or short drive) and to Acadia National Park. The room is nice and spacious and very comfortable. Also, nice views of Frenchman Bay from the balcony.
