The Staff was extremely friendly. They were always there when you needed them. Would definitely recommend. Will be back again.

i liked the fact that it was close to stores but far away from busy area. the only thing i would change is the floor. i think vinyl flooring would be better than the rug. otherwise i would book them again!! And the front desk was very accommodating with my change of stay. I was very happy with that. see ya next time Art.
The hotel look very old , room have smell not fresh because carpet is not dry ; I have to wear shoe all the time
Staff was super nice! Nice room that accepted dogs. Bed was really comfy. Would stay here again in the off season which is when I go anyway. I would imagine in the summer it would be noisier since it's right there by the boardwalk.
Great place to stay. It is right on the boardwalk close to everything. The place is clean and everyone is very friendly.

This was my first time bringing my dog on vacation and I was nervous about it. The Safari Motel was perfect for us. My only complaint was that our view of the ocean from the back building was obscured a bit by power lines. It’s directly on the boardwalk, but be aware that dogs “aren’t allowed” on the boardwalk or the beach between May 1 and sept 30. If I had known that I would have changed my plans a bit. We drove 20 mins to the beautiful dog friendly beaches of Assateague National Seashore where we had an absolute blast with the dog and saw a lot of wild ponies. The room itself could use another lamp or two - hardly any light in there with the curtains drawn. Other than that, I’d definitely go back, this time during the off season when dogs are allowed on the OC beach.
The best I can say about this hotel is it's on the Boardwalk. It's an older building. The corridors and elevator are not air conditioned and were very hot. The bathrooms are old fashioned, the rooms are not very impressive, and very little attention is paid to detail. While the staff was not rude, they certainly aren't very friendly.
You are so close to everything. Beach access is only feet from the hotel. The staff is in unbelievably helpful and nice. If your looking for a nice place to stay to enjoy the beach and boardwalk this is it. Only thing I wish I had in room was a microwave to reheat left over pizza. LOL I never asked if they had one tho. We just ate it cold.
