This place was clean (no bugs!) and well managed. Great stay for the cost. Beds are super flat and rock hard, but manageable for my family and I. I would stay here again if needed.
It was exactly what we needed—a decently priced hotel near the less touristy beaches. Only 15min drive from First Landing. Looked as if the flooring and furnishings were recently updated.
Limited staff at the front desk. Toilet was broke. Parking was horrible. Room was clean.

I beleive our room had some sort of bed bugs or mosquito infestation. Every morning we woke up me and my wife had several bug bites at least quarter size over our legs, arms and shoulder
Room was clean, but carpet was stained and worn. Furniture was old, worn. Breakfast was poorly stocked. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, an ok hotel. I'd stay there again if in that area.

The comforter had "unmentionable" stains on it. When we removed bedding the mattress had urine stains on it. We had two beds in rm. so we got new bedding slept on the other. We had a do not disturb sign on door the following day, and returned to find that staff had been in our rm. which was bad enough, but did not take the "stained" bedding that we had left by the door. (We had told the night staff that we would do so.) just dirty and disrespectful.
The room was very clean and comfortable. It only took like 20 min to get to the beach. Staff were very nice I will be going back for my next trip.
We chose this hotel because of the convenient location to Virginia Beach, Williamsburg and the Eastern Shore. The hotel room itself was fine; clean with average amenities. The surroundings themselves were not the greatest, but even after exploring Norfolk we never really found the "great" part of town. Overall, I would probably not stay here again, not because I was unhappy with the hotel but because I was not at all impressed with Norfolk. On the other hand, if you are simply looking for something near a ton of major interstates and are not overly concerned with safety or comfort, then this hotel works fine. If you have to stay in this area, I would try to find something near the Virginia Beach Convention Center (which is on the beach and still quite accessible) or the Ghent neighborhood (historic area with some great shops and restaurants). Lastly, if you decide to stay at this hotel, plan some extra time for breakfast. You are required to eat your food, including coffee, inside the lobby.
Last minute trip to the beach for the weekend, and this was a nice surprise. Convenient to everything, short drive to the beach, and a very clean room.
Used as a stop over. Arrived late and left early. Nice and clean at low cost. Met our needs.
The staff is very friendly and helpful. When I needed to send some faxes they were very accomodating. They also had a grest recommendation for a nearby restaurant and knew where the closest post office was located. They made my stay very productive and comfortable.
