Everything was amazing, staff, accommodations, flexibility, etc.

The hotel was under construction. There was loud noise during the day and all guests were rerouted and unable to use the front door. The ice machine outside of our room was broken and ran loudly throughout our entire stay. The hot tub was also out of service. We did notify the manager and our resort fee was refunded. However I feel that a guest should be notified of such extensive construction when booking a hotel.

Soap shampoo and conditioner only available in dispensers .. no bath ropes .. Took deposit for 100$ 5 days ago on Sunday still didn’t got the refund ? Plus 30$ for spa service Under construction .. loud plus pain smell Beautiful Hotel under dishonest new owner !!!

The entire staff we extremely friendly and could not do enough for us! I took my husband for his 50th birthday surprise, and they had a bottle of wine waiting in the room along with a wonderful hand written card for him. We are now going to make this an annual birthday trip!

Everything was great except there were two things about the room itself that were not that great. The shower had no lip separating it from the rest of the bathroom which means its impossible to not get water all over the rest of the bathroom when you shower and tjats not grrat.

When we checked in and got to our room there where maintenance people working on our room, so we had to leave for about 2 hours until the work was completed. Also we had no towels in our bathroom and had to request them twice and no towels where ever delivered.

Spacious rooms. Very nice staff. Self parking would be nice though. It’s valet or street parking which is nonexistent

I had a problem with my car rental and the staff took over to help with exchanging the car so I could go out and enjoy Newport

We booked a Viking suite. The original suite we were given was terrible and was not fit to be a hotel room for anyone. It was on the top floor if the hotel with very low ceilings, there were barely any windows or light from outside and the room was very run down. Our AC unit was broken initially as well. I complained and we were given a new room after the second night which was much better. However this was after a lot of stringing us along. They also forgot to transfer our playpen and crib after promising to do it immediately. We left the hotel for the day came back that night with no playpen for my daughter to sleep in. Another woman was screaming at the front desk also waiting for one. Overall they just seemed completely overwhelmed and over capacity. Every request we had took at least 3 times of us asking and several hours. For the price I would have expected far far better.

Very disappointed with this place, but mostly because it was posturing itself as a luxury hotel but didn't really deliver on that. Separate shower room from sink, and the sink has been upgraded but the shower and toilet look like they're out of the 80s. No shower cap, so my wife had to wrap her hair in the laundry bag during a quick shower after checking in/before heading out. One of the drawers in the closet area had a big puddle of water in it and clearly wasn't checked my housekeeping when freshening the room. Whole room smelled kind of damp, especially with AC running. Both the shower and the sink drained slow - we were standing in ankle deep water by the time our shower ended. I didn't get one of the "fancy" rooms, mine just overlooked the parking lot (very scenic!) so maybe it's different in other rooms, but if you took away the fancy bed and big TV this place didn't have a lot going for it. They also try to charge you a $30 per night resort fee for things like yoga or s'mores that I'm guessing most guests don't even use. And this is less a complaint more an oddity, but the building seems to be multiple additions/wings cobbled together, where you can take an elevator up one floor, then walk down the hall and down a few steps but are back on the floor where you started, despite being one level higher, just in a different part of the building.

Location was perfect Nickel and dimed you on charges, the one thing that annoyed me

First check in took to long, then was given a dirty room. Called from that room to tell front desk and was asked if I was sure it had been used. Pretty sure because bed unmade crib in room towels on floor dirty glasses etc! Then waited for new room. No actual soap or shampoo etc just bottles attached to wall that smelled awful all of them did. Makeup mirror had no light. Bathroom very dim. No full length mirrot. Air conditioner made loud noise when coming on and off to the point of waking me up constanly even with fan on. Last straw wake up call was 20 minutes late and had plane to catch but was already up because couldnt sleep with AC!

Nice location but you could hear everything going on in the rooms above us..Amanda at the front desk was AMAZING!! The gym had kids in their socks on the treadmill and their parents wouldn’t make them get off so there was no gym equipment available.. coffee shop is a nice addition.. Michael at the bar didn’t know how to make a bahama mama and the bar restaurant was decent.. burger was great but desserts lacked.. housekeeping was limited wouldn’t take away empty cups and didn’t wipe down counters...I found 2 bugs in the ice taken out of ice machine. This place must be crazy in the summer time.. valet parking would’ve been 40$ per night if we used it, which is high. Staff was friendly for the most part. Jets in the jacuzzi weren’t strong and there wee no towels left by the pool. Got a massage at the spa and although expensive it was wonderful!!
