The staff was super friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable. I'm not usually a hotel person since I like more unique experiences but if you're looking for easy and comfortable this will do.

The whole client experience from Check-in to Check-out is poor. The lobby, halls and rooms are shabby, tired and poorly lighted. Room carpeting was sticky and stained (could not walk in bare feet!) while the wall paper was peeling and the lighting was cheap fluorescent blue light. Not worth the $300 per night and not worthy of even 1 star. Weak effort by Hilton to exploit proximity to Brown University.

We arrived withou previous notification they suggest use your system and we receive a better deal than direct. Better than that impodibke. Nice room confortable the hotel very well placed etc

A very nice hotel. Convience to downtown. Very nice rooms and very friendly staff. Good service at the resturant. Clean exercise room, but was out of towels. I had a very nice stay.

This reservation was made prior to my leaving on this trip by another co-worker. When I arrived I went ahead and gave my credit card for incidentals. On the last day of my stay I noticed that my credit card had been charged for two rooms although the rooms had already been paid for. I called the front desk and I was told the charges were being removed. I went down stairs to get a receipt and the attendant told me that they weren't removed and that she would take care of it. Over a month later the charges are still on my credit card and have failed to be removed. I put a dispute of the claims on my card. I called multiple times and finally someone didn't send me to voicemail and said she was going to reverse the charges I am still waiting to see if they are being removed. I think that the hotel should have number one, removed the charges and number two, offered to give me some kind of perk for my inconvenience. I also had issues with getting on the internet and couldn't even sign on the first night of my stay. In addition, my shower curtain smelled of mildew and was cloth so I suggest washing those frequently. I have never given a hotel a bad review in my life, but I felt I should share this information with everyone. Thanks!

This Hilton is very convenient to everything in downtown Providence. Within walking distance to Federal Hill and its great Italian restaurants. A bit further from Brown, but still walkable--Providence is not all that large. Good hotel--comfy beds and the in-room A/C unit worked very well. Front desk staff and valets very friendly and helpful. We were here to visit family so really didn't use amenities or WIFI, but the hotel is clean, rooms were clean and comfortable. Just around the corner from Dunkin Donuts center and a block from convention center. Across the street from Trinity Brew Pub and only a block from the Trinity Rep Theater.

Hotel met expectations. It was in a great location for walking in the city . We would definitely stay there again when in town.

Full size beds with low ceiling. Stiff air, loud AC unit.

We choose Hilton in Providence because nothing affordable or available for our weekend in Newport. It was a straight shot and 35 minutes from Newport which was ok. The beds were comfortable, the room was good, the check in was good and the valet staff excellant. They gave us water bottles, suggestions, directions each time we left. Now the bad part. The air conditioning unit made a huge thud every ten minutes all night long waking me up each time in a panic. We also dealt with a large sports team and their families yelling and laughing into the early morning hours. Many calls to security finally quieted them. I wish there was a separate floor with a lounge for large groups in a hotel that is a popular hotel to sports and dance groups. I get that they want comraderie and fun but it's hard for the rest of us travelers! Lastly, traffic and sirens were loud all night.

Awesome trip! Thats all thats needed. Great stay, friendly staff, good food, easy to get in and out of. Great time

Went to Providence for a weekend getaway with some friends. Spent a lot of time walking around the city and seeing all of the sights.

Yes it was brief but enjoyable. I would recommend it

In town for my daughter's graduation from Brown, this hotel was located walking distance to the university and various great restaurants & shopping areas.

in town to visit family who recently moved to Rhode Island - enjoyed Cliff Walk views

Stayed at the hotel for a conference up the street at the Rhode Island Convention Center, so the location was quite convenient and pricing competitive. The best part of the experience was the staff. Everyone from the valets to room service were genuinely friendly and personable. Second-best part was the food at Shula's restaurant - tasty with generous portions and excellent service. The rooms were standard Hilton issue with surprisingly good in-room coffee. The beds weren't particularly comfortable and as I'm not European, I'm not a fan of their postage-stamp sized pillows. By far the worst part of the experience was the office chair that is supposed to be ergonomic but instead was simply uncomfortable to the point of being painful. I appreciated the effort but the execution made putting together a last-minute presentation absolute torture. Had this stay not been for a conference the chair wouldn't have been a big deal, but I needed to work at the desk and it was next to impossible to do. Still, overall the hotel is clean and conveniently located, so I would recommend it to anyone needing accommodations with reliable quality.

A typical Hilton. It is nice enough and clean enough. Staff is v friendly Starbucks just outside Nothing else of interest within walking distance

I enjoyed myself truly. Upon entering the hotel I was greeted by staff and provided information about the town and what was going on and different amenities that were available to me. I was given a complimentary bottle of water and breakfast and the room was very clean and comfortable.

the hotel is really close to the local mall. A really really good location. Breakfast is good too, but you have to pay by your self.
