Great/beautiful scenic location, very good restaurant on site, easy to get to Ocean Drive and the mansions. I would caution concerning possible loud events (wedding reception) one evening we were there. It was impossible to avoid how loud the music was and no fore warning when booking.

a pretty hotel for weddings i wish it had more to offer pool, gym, spa, bicycles anything more than free parking free breakfast but no real vegan breakfast options besides fruit the door slamming was the worst it is pretty though

I loved the old feel of the place. We had the corner room on the 3rd floor with an amazing view of both the grounds of the property and the ocean side. Staff was very friendly. Overall a great experience!

Came for a business trip (week night). The property has a good location but is dated (have to call front desk to change the temp). Normally I am an easy sleeper, but the hotel had a few weddings with the noise ordinance extending beyond 10pm to midnight. The hotel has two buildings. Try to be in the newer building.

The outside of the building was beautiful and well kept. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The room was very old, musty smelling, and needs extensive updating. There was chipped paint, a broken blind, a very noisy window air conditioner, and old, faded carpet throughout the hallways and rooms. The bed sounded like it was going to fall apart with the slightest movement and made noises. It was very disappointing to be in such a beautiful town pay $400/night and have to stay in a room with these conditions and no have no amenities. Their website pictures are very deceiving.

Nice view from dining room. Pleasant service. Old building. No elevator. Entry difficult through portico blocked by trucks. Too expensive for what it is.

Familiar with the property.

Over priced. Dated rooms. Old mattresses.cheap foam pillows very uncomfortable. Very poor sound insulation between rooms. Staff members mostly kids. Expected higher level of quality overall.

Beautiful bay views from the grounds and the dining area. It wasn't open though, and the only offering was a continental breakfast (in name only). Nice old mansion from the robber barron days. One warning...do not stay in Room 8...unless you like being jolted awake when the dumpster, just below you window, is emptied at 6AM, also unless you like the vibration sounds and smells from the kitchen exhaust system. Nice place, just stay from #8.

Friendly staff at check-in. Beautiful property, room, and views. Away from town, but outstanding setting.
