We had a wonderful experience at the Mill Street Inn. It is convenient, clean, modern, and the service was exellent. We would love to go back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Newport!

Wonderful location. Staff were all friendly and accommodating. All the little extras made are stay (in-room snacks, evening treats and continential breakfast

Very nice and cozy hotel, minutes from the piers and various restaurants and cafes. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious, well set-up, with a powerful A/C in both the bedroom and the sitting room. The ONLY weak points were A) the cleanliness of the room (noticed a long blonde hair hanging from the shower wall, a (dust?) stain on the back of the bath robe, dusty window curtains); B) lack of room slippers. But, all these minor disappointments didn't ruin our weekend, and I'd come back to this hotel again.

Mill Street Inn is my favorite place to stay in Newport. The staff is friendly, the rooms are beautiful and clean, and they have an excellent customer service program in place. We most recently stayed over Easter Weekend and the woman at the front desk thanked us for returning (nice touch!), there was a mixer bar set up in the lobby and tea, and coffee sweets and more waiting downstairs. My partner was craving this graham cracker brownie we had our last visit a year ago and they did not disappoint! A bit later in the afternoon, we received a phone call saying that they understood we declined turn down service, but wanted to offer a treat for the holiday weekend (pictured). The only suggestion I have is to make sure (especially on a holiday) that the dinner recommendations on their daily list are actually open. They weren't a far walk at all, but figured it was worth a mention if you're borderline hangry. In the morning, the complimentary continental breakfast is unparalleled and the sidewalks were already shoveled in front of their building and it was perfectly toasty warm inside.

Everything was great, loved how big the room is and how close it is to all of the restaurants and shops

great location...great roof top breakfast... ...furniture/chairs need some updating...would stay again

Small, modern, clean and very comfortable. Great location to all the areas you will want to visit while in Newport and they have a convenient parking garage as well.

This is a great hotel for a weekend getaway. It was close to the stores and restaurants/bars. The hotel staff was helpful, friendly and very attentive. I would definitely go back again and recommend it to friends and family!

Very cute converted mill right off the beaten path of the shopping area of Newport. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. Service was excellent and staff were very friendly. They have a complimentary breakfast - but we decided to go out instead so cannot comment there. For my first trip to Newport I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly staff... a great breakfast presentation...We used the roof top deck for sunset viewing...The location was great for walking down to the waterfront or up to Bellvevue avenue for dinner. the two room suites works out great for us would recommend this and stay there again

The location of this hotel is ideal for getting to the restaurants and shops of Newport and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful however the accommodations would not be what I would describe as "luxury" or 4-star. Rooms were basic and needed some TLC: shoddy construction, scratches and dings on the walls and furniture, other guests' hair left on the floor and walls of the bathroom (eww!). The continental breakfast was very good and it was nice to have candy and a note with our turn-down service. Overall, though it's not all bad, it is not what it is being advertised as, and thus not worth the money.

Our stay at the Mill Street Inn was outstanding. The staff was welcoming, location is the best, and the room was very comfortable (especially the bed!).

Room is great. Breakfast on the rooftop makes it a great value

My husband and I stayed here for one night an enjoyed our find. We stayed on the second floor. The room was clean. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but clean which is more important to me. The complimentary breakfast was a healthy layout, but mostly cold food (cereal, yogurt, toast, etc) The location was great and could walk to all attractions. You could hear throught the walls. Overall it was great for the price and for one or two nights.

great hotel, clean and beautiful suite.. Only complaint is there was only one mirror aside from the bathroom..

Very pleasant; friendly and helpful staff. Quiet. In the center of town. Very easy walk to restaurants and shopping and waterfront

Just off the waterfront. Clean. Staff exceptionally friendly. Parking off street but very tight. Quiet time of year so when we mentioned it was our anniversary, they upgraded us to townhouse with fireplace - very nice. Good value for money if you want more than just a motel room.

We had a junior suite and the staff was truly nice. The breakfast was well presented. I would come back and stay.

We did not arrive until late. We had a very nice deck outside the bedroom. The space was oddly claustrophobic due to narrowness of the rooms. Downtown newport was lovely. We did not eat breakfast at the inn, although I did notice that it was served on Paper plates with plastic cups. It has great architectural potential but is just off somehow.

Dear Elena, Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback on your stay and we are so sorry to hear about the housekeeping issues you experienced. We will take those under advisement and work with our staff to improve. We are currently working on providing slippers/flip flops in our rooms and hope you get to enjoy them on a future stay. Best Regards, Caron Rivera General Manager
