Could not be closer to Thames Street attractions. Recent renovations of an historic building were well done and while not the most spacious rooms, convenience more than makes up for it. Parking is always an issue but hotel gives a discount to the public parking across the street, subject to availability, which they do not control. Breakfast was included and great: fresh fruit, bread, meat and cheese. We will stay there again without question

This hotel is amazing!!! You cant ask for a better place to stay in Newport

Great location and good breakfast spread. Staff was helpful and the room comfortable. All around good value.

Absolutely what you want when staying at an Inn. The breakfast was wonderful and they even had an afternoon tea.. You cannot beat the location for sight seeing Newport RI. The room was nice and staff was very accommodating. The only down side was no elevator and climbing 3 flights of stairs at our age was a challenge.. LOL. None the less, we definitely want to go back..We highly recommend this place..

Fabulous selection of food for breakfast! Also, amazing selection of food for "tea" in the afternoon. Great location in the heart of city.

Nice close to shops. Close parking. I really loved afternoon tea. Breakfast had a great selection. But needed to be ready earlier to meet guests schedule of daily activities.

great location. Bit tired and need a bit of renovation.

Best location in Newport Rhode Island Charming room and foyer/downstairs area Good breakfast Friendly staff, fastest check in ever No private parking but public parking available across the street Location location location Very relaxing reading area downstairs by the breakfast area Would definitely recommend it I saved their phone number so I can call them directly next time

Love the location! Just wish I didn't have to pay parking.

Great little boutique hotel, within walking distance of nearly all the attractions, and next to a great bar. If you've never stayed here this is what to expect. Small room, extremely clean, free wifi, great European breakfast buffet (eggs, pancake, fresh cut fruit, granola, yogurt and some interesting lunch meats and cheeses with really good coffee, and very nice staff... You stay here so you can walk to the attractions, has a decent lobby that works as a good meeting spot if you've got friends to coordinate with

Close to 85 percent of locations. Just convenient!

place is a bit dated as some have noted... places feels a bit old, floors are creaky and warped... but to me that is what i would expect of a B&B. location is superb. all the shops and restaurants are within easy walking distance. breakfast was very good in my view. coffee was pretty good - much better than what i expected and i'm a starbucks drinker. if you want starbucks, its a mere 2 blocks away. while the eggs - somewhat bland scrambled, boiled and fried - were underwhelming as were the sausages, the rest of it made up for it. many many fresh fruits - honey dew, cantaloupe, strawberry, blueberry, cherry, plum, banana, apple, were all fresh and very well presented. several varieties of cakes, muffins and bread were there as well. i was very impressed with the sheer number of offerings in such a tiny space. the lone attendant worked very hard to keep everything refilled as they keep very little out at a time given the space limitation. afternoon tea was nice also, with some yummy pastries, granola bars, dried fruits and nuts. the room was a bit tight and dated but was clean and adequate. noise can be an issue as you can hear people on the street talking (we were in the 3rd floor corner room overlooking thames) but with the a/c running both my wife and i were fine. for what i paid, i would happily stay here again. it is not a four seasons... but it's pretty much what i would expect of a B&B. i consider the datedness all part of the charm and experience of a B&B.

We loved our stay here. The staff is friendly. Great breakfast buffet, better than other b&bs in the area and a great price. We will be back again.

This is a prime location, close to all downtown destinations including Bowen's Wharf, Brick Alley Pub, Newport blues cafe, etc... Our window did look directly into the second floor of Busker's Pub/bar. Luckily we were there in December and it wasn't at it's peak tourist time. otherwise it might have felt like the bar patrons were sharing our tiny room with us. The only real complaint was the noise level. People in the hall sound like they are in your room. And they picked up the trash at 6:30am on Sunday morning – as you can imagine this was very quiet process. (Note heavy sarcasm) Definitely not a place for kids.

The hotel and the room was not worth the money. However, the breakfast was great.

Hotel is in perfect spot close to everything. Friendly staff and variety of food for breakfast.

My husband and I stopped here while we were on our honeymoon. It was a very cute place to stay. The rooms were small, but we were only there for one night. The breakfast was amazing, and I was completely surprised by how much food there was and the mass variety. If I'm ever in the area again I will definitely be staying there.

My boyfriend and I wanted a to go on a weekend getaway to enjoy Newport. This quaint little hotel offered roomy accommodations and a wonderful breakfast. The hotel was just perfect for people who want convenience... Centrally located- we were walking distance to all of the night life and many wonderful restaurants.
