overpriced for limited amenities

Nice but the price was high! Not sure we got our money’s worth. I think they charged us a resort fee in Feb. that seemed like a crazy thing.

Great place if you want to be near almost everything that Newport has to offer. Great room views and food offerings. Clean room. Nice place to stay overall. Only issue, if any, is service being more knowledgeable with questions asked and staff opening the main door when walking into the Resort would be Nice, even if just occasionally.

I paid an EXORBITANT amount of money to stay here only to be placed in the "Captains Quarters" which equated to a finished basement opening up to a parking lot view. NEVER would I EVER book here again.

Beautiful place in Rhode Island. Family and business friendly.

The resort grounds are lovely - the entire outside area, and even the lobby, are beautiful. Our room itself was disappointing for the price point. It was very dull and poorly decorated. We expected more.

Nice place. I like that there were a lot of different types of lounging options on the property (hammocks, lawn chairs, reclining chairs, fire pit area etc.). The lighthouse is cute too. Having oysters at the pool was also nice. I wish the goats were still there :(

Classy hotel with great views and very pleasant staff.

They put us in a terrible room facing the parking lot. Had to complain to switch out. The pool chairs were cheap and rusty. No end tables next to any of the chairs. No service by the pool you had to go outside to order and wait in line. Was not the experience u expect for $700 a night

The personnel was extremely friendly. Erin from the front desk gave us everything we asked for: An upgrade and a later check out.

Wonderful place! I came across this resort by an accident and it was a nice surprise! Tons of amenities, pleasant staff from reception to bar/lounge (ice skating staff could use a little bit more of training though), great food and drinks, the room is great. We had an amazing time here, thank you!

The location is beautiful. However for the price you pay to stay here, it should have the amenities of a luxury resort. It’s just missing the mark on quality service. The rooms are terribly outdated. The staff is friendly but certainly do not make you feel exceptionally taken care of. At the end of the day you can’t beat the views though!

The valet, bell hop, and front desk staff were all wonderful. The room was very nice and the view from our room balcony was spectacular. Definitely request a room with a sea view. The only negatives were how expensive the drinks were by the pool AND how weak they were! It was as if there was hardly any alcohol in them. Also, the hotel bathrooms in the lobby and pool area were not very clean which was shocking for such a nice resort. I didn't even want to use them! The resort was otherwise very clean. Since I have a son it was nice that they had a full-time lifeguard on duty as well.

Absolutely beautiful resort and the location on the water was gorgeous!
