I booked the suite with multiple beds. The room did not look like the pictures as advertised. The room was clean and staff was accommodating. That was the only positive. I noticed that the room only had 1 remote for 2 tv’s. The room did not have any dressers or drawers to put clothes in. The water took forever to get hot in the shower. When I was checking out online, there was an issue with the website and would not let me complete the checkout process. I was forced to make an unnecessary phone call.

Wonderful place to stay in Newport

Very clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was great, check-in was a breeze. Would love to try the restaurant for brunch or dinner, early morning options at 8 AM were limited, but they looked amazing. Very short uber ride to downtown Newport and Salve Regina.

Not enough drawers to put clothes in. Unfortunately we also killed a silverfish (cockroach) in the room. On the positive side, the room attendant cleaned the room every day so that we always had clean towels. Front desk staff and bar staff were very friendly.

Great experience overall, however the door of our room and most rooms around ours all kinda stayed cracked a little bit open at all times. it was still shut and locked but just a little awkward at times since it looked like our door was open when walking down the hall.

The staff was very friendly and super helpful! At check in, we were asked if we had any plans for the weekend, and upon mentioning that we might tour the gilded age mansions, we were told we could buy discounted tickets at the hotel reception area (which we ended up doing!)

This is not a 4 stars hotel, 3 at the very best. We were put in an area where we had to walk out of the reception building and there were no elevators (we had to carry our lugagge to the 3rd floor by stairs). The tv remote control didn't work, the outlets in the room were loose and some didn't work (therefore difficult to charge devices). We were given 2 towels, enven though reservation was for 3, the back out shade works only partially and so on. Very old building, where they tried to revamp the appearance but not the structure. Staff not trained well, we were not offered help with the luggage and at check out didn't even ask how our stay was. Wouldn't stay again and wouldn't recommend.
