Our stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Newport, Rhode Island was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, Mary, the owner, made us feel less like guests and more like family. Her warmth and genuine hospitality set the tone for the entire visit. Each morning, we were treated to Mary’s magnificent breakfasts—thoughtfully prepared, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. It quickly became one of the highlights of our trip. Beyond the food, Mary’s knowledge of the area was invaluable. Her touring recommendations helped us make the most of our time in Newport, guiding us to both popular attractions and hidden gems we might have otherwise missed. The location of the bed and breakfast was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore everything Newport has to offer. Whether we were heading out for a day of sightseeing or an evening stroll, everything felt within reach. What truly stood out, though, was the feeling of comfort and connection. Mary created an atmosphere that made it feel like we were visiting a relative’s home rather than staying at a lodging. We will absolutely be booking with Mary again. In fact, our experience was so special that we’re already looking for another opportunity to return to Newport—just so we can stay here again.

Host Mary was fantastic…so sweet & friendly that we immediately felt at home! Her beautiful garden B&B is in a great neighborhood, very safe & walkable. We were in town for a wedding and Mary gave us advice on things to see & do and everything she recommended was great! Also super yummy breakfast…highly recommend!

Wonderful B&B in Newport, RI

We stayed at Gardenview B&B for 2 nights in July. Ms. Mary has a beautiful house which she generously opens to her guests. She prepares delicious breakfast every morning, from scratch and it’s different each time. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and, yes, with the garden view. The neighborhood is quiet, easy to navigate through. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you.

Classic B&B in easy location for access to all Newport has to offer without the hassles of downtown. Charming bedroom and excellent breakfasts. Hostess has extensive local knowledge. Walking distance to two local beaches and the south end of Cliff Walk.
