The stay was a overnight for me and my wife. Just a short weekend. The room was very nice. My wife loved the view of the harbor out the window. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Especially the pool and sauna areas.

Whenever I'm in Newport I stay at Newport Harbor Hotel. Friendly staff, great location & nice rooms. Recommend.

Excellent front desk staff, made us feel like home. Location is perfect right next to Bowen's Wharf. Just wish they had a gym.

Perfect location. Beautiful view. Bathroom small.Bed was comfortable with upscale linens.Big pool area with adjacent outside area to enjoy the sunshine. Nice complimentary ice water with oranges in front lobby but it was never filled. We asked front desk staff and they said they called food services about it. When we returned two hours later, water container still wasn't filled. Seems like a small complaint but it was a very hot day and others were looking for hydration too.

Check your bill! Charged for items you did not use or order. Room service food was not good. Cold and wet from being in plastic containers! Beautiful location ruined by garbage cans overflowing with trash.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Newport. The warf, restaruants, bars and stores are right outside the door. It is even a fairly easy walk to Bellevue Ave. It is a very short drive to the beaches and mansions. The staff is freindly and helpful. The rooms clean and bright. The only thing i find petty is the $8 per night parking charge for thier large parking lot. It is not alot of money however I simply dont appreciate the nickle fees resorts charge that is the fashion today. I would highly recomend this Hotel

The hotel is in an excellent location in downtown Newport. The saltwater pool was refreshing, the hotel staff was friendly, our stay was pleasant and the sunset view from our harbor side room was also very nice. However, the attached restaurant was a huge disappointment. The Saltwater's atmosphere was comfortable and classy, the staff friendly. BUT, the meal was horrible...we ordered the items on the to share by the table, I think that is what it was called, we kind of wondered what was up when the waitress brought over some brown parchment paper and laid it on the table. Next came two buckets of food which was dumped on the table, along with gobs of strange sauces, no good old New England Tarter sauce to be had. Some of the food was under cooked while most of it was way overdone, so much so that it crumbled between your fingers. We did complain to the manager, who seemed unconcerned, but later did bring over a basket of lobster cakes, this appeased us a little. But not enough to ever try this restaurant again.

Hotel was fine. Room was clean. Good location. Within walking distance to Brickmarket shops.

2 Star Hotel charging 5+ Star prices. Mildew in bathroom, 70ies decor, photo's DO NOT represent these rooms! BR too small for a women to dress in or pre for a night out. Every negative review you read is correct...I'm sorry I didn't do my own due diligence. Restaurant closed...water shut off to entire hotel for 2 hours due to a broken value in the main line JUST as we were about to shower & change for a wedding! Had to walk up to the Marriott and use a friends BR to get ready. BTW, Marriott is beautiful with all the amenities that a higher price hotel should offer. Front desk offered 30 discount off my next stay...my wife won't go back - ever. Paid $1370 for three nights off season (harbor view w/king). Should have been 1/3 the price for this quality. Very sad.

Beautiful area hotel is right on the marina - close to all restaurants/bars/shopping.

We have stayed here on several occasions and it is still one of the nicest spots in Newport. It is a little more expensive but the location is worth it. You can walk to most places from there. The new Salt water has wonderful food choices as well.

Excellent experience. Staff was amazing and location was superb

awesome hotel... great views.. a little pricey but i was happy with my stay here.

We stayed one night and it was fine. Weather was not great but the location was the best. You can walk to most everything. The $20 parking fee was a bummer, but parking is expensive all over Newport.

From the front of the building you wouldn't think much of the place but the view from the back, the dining area, the bar is so awesome you almost don't have to leave to enjoy the Newport environment. I've stayed in 4 star hotels and the only thing nicer about those were the décor but I'll take a great staff over that any day. Walking distance to the Bellevue mansions and other historical sites (check out Trinity church and pay the money for the tour - you will learn something) and the breeze from the ocean alone will make me a return guest.

Perfect location - walking distance to great restaurants. Older hotel but clean. Great off-season price.

This was our third stay at Newport Harbor Hotel and Marina. Their location is by far the biggest draw - serene harbor view and walking distance to the hub of Newport. Love the Adirondack chairs along the dock and water to take it all in. Manager at front desk extremely pleasant and helpful. You're not paying for a fancy hotel, but one that will suffice for its location.

Room was small but clean. Pillows were very flimsy and bed was quite soft, not very comfortable. I have slept in better beds. Shower was small but very clean. Our overall experience was great though. The front desk clerk Judge was very pleasant and very helpful in giving us directions. The ladies in the evening were pleasant as well. We also had a chance to have drinks at happy hour at the restaurant on the 20th floor and the bartender and staff were very pleasant. Overall great customer service. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel not to mention the great location.

We love it here. Staff is amazing, views are great, excellent location. Keith is outstanding!

Stayed for 2 nights with my wife. Location couldn't be better as it was right on the harbor and close to everything. Great view from room
