$36 for nothing, a big surprise , amenities charge????

Great location, rooms are nice, it was great having a balcony to see the boats and town. Beds were very comfortable, breakfast was very good.

Megans at front desk was so helpful We have stayed at Newport Harbor Hotel many times and Megans has always made our stay much more pleasant

Great location in Newport, well worth the price for this time of year, comfortable rooms and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Be aware they now have a charge that no tells you about. They call it an amenity fee of $20.00 that they slip under your door in the middle of the night. It's not mentioned on the website or told to you at check out, so regardless of what you think your rate is add another $20.000

We love this hotel and have been back many times. Jenelle at the front desk was fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting the full Newport experience.

Beautiful view! We were able to enjoy New Year’s Eve festivities all within walking distance! Hotel was well kept and clean. Staff were very pleasant and accommodating!

This was the ideal location and during off season very reasonable.

Check-in was quick, easy, and simple. Greeted with a kind welcoming. Room was large and comfortable. The view was fantastic. I do think it is a bit outrageous to charge people to park though. $10 to park seems silly. It should be included with your stay. Other than that, it was great, and we would stay here again.

The only good thing about this hotel is the location...it's over priced and it reminded me of a cheap motel......and that's my personal opinion......and they charge you for parking, and water bottle the cost 1.25 they charge 4.00 dollars..they nickel and dime you...

Very friendly staff. Very well maintained but on the cusp of needing complete room upgrades. Stay away from the $35>00 bottle of old wine in your room! Many liquor options nearby! Great location.

Only available rooms were 2 full size beds, prefer 1 Queen, so sleeping was tight; bathroom was small; not much room to accommodate toiletries; had to ask for refrigerator which was brought up promptly and placed on the floor-difficult to access from there; no microwave; pool temperature was very cold; asked to have it raised and it was not; could not use; selected this hotel partly for the pool; very disappointed; no hot tub; parking at $25.00 very pricey. Narrow parking spaces. Will not book here again. Water in lobby was often not available.

The stay was a overnight for me and my wife. Just a short weekend. The room was very nice. My wife loved the view of the harbor out the window. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was very clean. Especially the pool and sauna areas.

Whenever I'm in Newport I stay at Newport Harbor Hotel. Friendly staff, great location & nice rooms. Recommend.

Excellent front desk staff, made us feel like home. Location is perfect right next to Bowen's Wharf. Just wish they had a gym.

Perfect location. Beautiful view. Bathroom small.Bed was comfortable with upscale linens.Big pool area with adjacent outside area to enjoy the sunshine. Nice complimentary ice water with oranges in front lobby but it was never filled. We asked front desk staff and they said they called food services about it. When we returned two hours later, water container still wasn't filled. Seems like a small complaint but it was a very hot day and others were looking for hydration too.

Check your bill! Charged for items you did not use or order. Room service food was not good. Cold and wet from being in plastic containers! Beautiful location ruined by garbage cans overflowing with trash.

This hotel is perfectly located in the heart of Newport. The warf, restaruants, bars and stores are right outside the door. It is even a fairly easy walk to Bellevue Ave. It is a very short drive to the beaches and mansions. The staff is freindly and helpful. The rooms clean and bright. The only thing i find petty is the $8 per night parking charge for thier large parking lot. It is not alot of money however I simply dont appreciate the nickle fees resorts charge that is the fashion today. I would highly recomend this Hotel

The hotel is in an excellent location in downtown Newport. The saltwater pool was refreshing, the hotel staff was friendly, our stay was pleasant and the sunset view from our harbor side room was also very nice. However, the attached restaurant was a huge disappointment. The Saltwater's atmosphere was comfortable and classy, the staff friendly. BUT, the meal was horrible...we ordered the items on the to share by the table, I think that is what it was called, we kind of wondered what was up when the waitress brought over some brown parchment paper and laid it on the table. Next came two buckets of food which was dumped on the table, along with gobs of strange sauces, no good old New England Tarter sauce to be had. Some of the food was under cooked while most of it was way overdone, so much so that it crumbled between your fingers. We did complain to the manager, who seemed unconcerned, but later did bring over a basket of lobster cakes, this appeased us a little. But not enough to ever try this restaurant again.

Hotel was fine. Room was clean. Good location. Within walking distance to Brickmarket shops.

Hi, Stephanie. We truly appreciate this great review on your stay. We pride ourselves on being warm and welcoming while providing personal service. We do charge for parking as do most properties in the area at a much higher rate where it might be included in their “resort fee”. It was a pleasure having you as our guest and we look forward to your next visit.

Hi Bizmark, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. Your feedback is greatly appreciated as we truly value all guest opinions and take them into consideration when making improvements to our property. There is only a charge for the Fiji water upon consumption. Most properties in the area charge for parking at a much higher rate where it might be include in their “resort fee”
