If not for the convenience of being next door to a shopping plaza and the low price, this would deserve negative stars. The whole place gave "crack den" vibes and smelled terrible. The smell changed several times, like some kind of awful Russian roulette of stink. The room was bare, filthy, and there were stains on the "clean" sheets. Worst hotel experience I could have ever imagined. Human trafficking awareness poster in the lobby was a great touch.

Are welcome was to a big pile of debris and belongings outside the front door to go in the hotel. Looks like someone was evicted and they were just hanging out on top of their pile of stuff. The door into the hotel was locked even though it was 7 PM and in a resort area. The staff was outside smoking a cigarette. Definitely had really bad vibes. Paid for a room for four people for one night and got into the room and there was one bath towel for all of us. I would not recommend going to this place. Felt very sketchy. Only reason I didn't find another hotel was because I be paying height of the season room rates. Literally use it just a place to sleep.

We were given our room key, room was in the middle of being cleaned. (After 4). The entire building smelled very strongly of cigarettes and a cleaning solution. Got back after dinner, our TV didn’t work, no one able to look at it until the next day, we were just one night, and would be checked out before then . Woke up and realized the smoke detector was hanging from the ceiling, it looked almost disconnected, if I had noticed it last night I would have never felt comfortable staying here. I notified the front desk that morning, and we checked out and left. I thought the ladies at the front desk were very welcoming.

This is an older motel. They provided basic services, but no little extras. For example, there was no shampoo or conditioner in the shower. However, the employees could not have been more helpful. We stayed here because the hotels closer to Newport were much more expensive.

The motel smelled bad. We asked for extra towels 4 times and never got them. The television did not work. The room was dark and echoed like a cave. Worst place i have ever stayed at. Will never go there again. We even checked out after the first night and found a new hotel. It was a dump.Also had some peoe in the hotel having a domestic fight and were screaming profanities all night and nobody stopped it. When we checked out early, they never asked how our stay was.

Day staff was nice, but seemed overwhelmed. As a single woman traveler I felt a little unsafe at the motel, seemed like people were living in rooms. Room smelled strongly of cigarettes and felt unclean. Noisy Saturday night with unsettling activity in the halls throughout the night.

Started at check in,the women checking us in was flustered and on her phone. We had called earlier to see if we could get adjoining rooms and the person who answered said yes when we check in, didn’t happen she told us they don’t do this. On to my room now, ugly ,, smelled old and the freezer had no door so was covered in frostNo table in the bathroom for your bathroom toiletries, a small sink with no shelf’s. Moved the table from the main room into the bathroom. No microwave, facial towels or hand towels. Bedside lamps unplugged, tv didn’t work. Very frustrating. I would like my money back on this one!!!!

Our non smoking room smelled of stale cigarette smoke and the hallways smelled of pot. The room was clean but everything was otherwise old and in bad condition. The bedding was pretty uncomfortable as well. The comforter was thin and the pillows were uneven and a bit hard. We really only needed a place to sleep in Newport since we had an early morning race and just needed to be in the area. However I don’t think we’d ever stay here again. The one plus was the 2 staff members I dealt with were very polite and friendly.

Dangerous place wouldn’t stay here, chkd in and left 15 mins. after examining the room even after unprofessional treatment at front desk and unsafe environment!!
