Check in was smooth and super easy. Staff that we interacted with during our stay were all very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, clean, and well appointed. We ordered the New England breakfast one morning for room service and i have to say it was delicious. Plenty of food for the two of us to share and came with coffee and OJ.

generally, our stay at the Omni in Providence was lovely. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The street was a bit noisy at night but we muddled through as the location and the facility was very nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only complaint was the coffee shop, the restaurant and the convenience store on site. All three charged exorbitant prices for basic everyday things. I paid a little higher than I would expect for coffee - so went to the lovely coffee shop across the street. But I wanted to grab a light snack form each the coffee shop and convenient store on site - there was over a 100% mark-up on each of the items. For example, a bottle of coke was $5.00; the same goes for a Luna bar. These items retail for tops $3.00 each - even that is pretty high. the standard price is about 2.50 and 1.75 respectively. I understand a bit of a mark-up but your policy of gouging your customers is despicable.

Upon arrival, I was informed that my reserved room was no longer available, as it had been given to another guest. The hotel was overbooked, and the front desk staff handled the situation poorly, displaying a rude and dismissive attitude rather than offering a solution or apology. This experience left me feeling frustrated, disappointed, and unwelcome. It’s unfortunate, because my previous stay at this same hotel was exceptional — the service, room quality, and hospitality were all top-notch then. Given this recent experience, I would currently rate my stay 1 out of 5 stars ⭐, as it did not meet even basic expectations for customer service or reservation reliability.
