This the second time I stayed at Z hotel. The first time was at a discounted price so a little rustic was acceptable, but this last time it was double the price, and at that price I will not stay there again. Although the rooms are a little scuffed up, they seemed clean, but the elevators are very dirty and beaten up.

Stayed at Z NYC Hotel. The view is the standout, easily the best part of the experience, especially at night. That said, there are some basic misses. The room didn’t have cups or an ice bucket, which should be standard. The TV volume is capped at 13, which is unnecessarily limiting and makes it hard to actually enjoy anything. The WiFi also went out during the stay, which is a problem if you rely on it. Also, expect a $15 resort fee. Overall: great views, but the hotel needs to tighten up the fundamentals.

The room was dirty and there was no light at the entrance of the hotel room. We told the front desk about it and nothing was done. We had to basically get ready in the dark before going out for Valentine’s Day. Very disappointing
