Great time
Property is really run down and worn out. I booked the executive suite thinking it would be premium… it was far from it. Walls are banged up, furniture are scuffed, the room had this BO smell to it. The worst part is there was a mandatory $20 fee. The best part was that it was a king bed with a large room. Other then that, I would not stay here again.
The lobby was dark, furniture in the lobby was peeling, the carpet smelled, there was a big black trash bag left on my floor that was never removed, and someone threw food all over my car overnight.
didn't serve breakfast , there was a confusion because they the prices for didnt match with the orbitz prices
Don't be fooled by the pictures, this place is bad. Our first room was a mess. The sink didn't drain and was leaking terribly, the curtains were hanging down, and a light fixture was completely broken off the wall, so they moved us after telling us that that's the way the light was supposed to be and the curtain is a non issue. The new room we got was a little better the but sink was still leaking where the pipe connects to the wall, and the carpet was still in bad shape. Later a guy just walks into our room, because the inside of the door didn't have any lock (Only the electronic lock). We got back to the hotel one night and there was a lady screaming at the front desk people saying that one of the staff members walked in on her naked and they were kicking her out. It didn't make sense but after that we definitely didn't feel safe. We checked out of there ASAP and went to a much better hotel in Manhattan. Maybe it's the area or it's the hotel. Not sure, but I'll never ever be back.
We chose this hotel based on its location to family. The evening became a nightmare when hotel guests were out of control for hours. It was not until 1:30 AM until quiet was restored; this after someone set off the fire alarm prompting room evacuations and a call to fire police.
The property was easy to locate, the staff went above and beyond to help. They were very courteous. The room was clean. The bathroom since was the only thing that didn’t look correct. Whatever was used to repair made it look as if it was molded.

Awesome decor and ambience for rhe price. Modernist decor. Room had some clunky maintenance items, shower drained slow, shower door needs plumb. Fan bearing is going and loud. All in all a hrrat value. I would stay again.
It’s a jewel! The street view is a bit grim, but if you go a block in either direction you find a cross street with a diverse, vibrant neighborhood.
The sink had a discoloration problem I'm sure bleach would have done it but it was a little disconcerting to use. We had a problem with the clock and they fixed it right away that was nice. In the future I would like to stay on a higher floor looking out on trucks was not what I wanted to do for my vacation
The hotel was very modern and close to the subway.

The hotel was great. The location was great for our activities but the immediate block is a bit rough and intimidating. Staff could not be better. Hotel was very comfortable.
The rooms were clean and comfortable but could hear a lot of the street noise so that was annoying. The air conditioning broke during my stay and it was 90 degrees outside so that also wasn't pleasant . No efforts were made to compensate and moving to another room wouldn't have helped since the whole building was having issues. Offering a discount for this would have been greatly appreciated considering how uncomfortable it was to sleep in a room that was 83 degrees.
Once again this hotel has over met my needs! I came at 12am after missing my flight and they made sure I was taken care of quick so I can catch some sleep! I had a beautiful pent house room and made sure to take a lot of pics to show my friends!!
