Hotel was in an area of a lot of chain restaurants and stores. Clean and nice rooms. No complaints. Pretty close to the Erie Canal if you are planning a bike ride along it.
Excellent hotel and perfect location
Took an hour to check in at 9:15 on a Saturday night b/c, according to the person behind the desk, who was not in uniform, their new system wasn't working properly. There was no manager working that night, which was a problem because they had charged me 62 bucks and change for no reason at all to a credit card that didn't belong to me. This man eventually disappeared into a back office - with a line of people behind me - to call a manager on his own cell phone (or so it seemed). When he returned he managed to get $50 removed but asked me if he could just charge $12 to a credit card that actually did belong to me, that way he could clear the system and then he would refund the money immediately. He never refunded the money, still trying to get it back. Can't get a manger on the phone several days later. Anyway, when we got to the room it was on the parking lot, which was loud that night, so I asked for another room. He couldn't give me one b/c they were sold out. Soooo... we park near the room in the back lot where the other employee working that night was getting high in his car. So to review - two people working on a sold out Saturday night, one stoned, the other one too new to understand the system or make any kind of a call on his own. Found out the next day that managers do not work on weekends - the busiest nights when the rooms cost the most. In the morning the buffet was out of everything hot, which is another management problem. Bad management - bottom line
Good place to stay. No complaints.
Spacious, nicely furnished and clean rooms. Easy access from I-90.
Good location.
We have an EV and every other nearby hotel has a charging station for guests, but not this one.
The breakfast was nice, however i arrived for a late check in and was hungry when i got in around 11pm. I am unfamiliar with the area and didn't want to drive to find a store for snacks, so I was extremely disappointed that the vending machine only offered drinks. A snack machine would most likely benefit the hotel.
The young man who checked me in was very friendly and efficient. The room was nice and clean, but the sofa bed was not very comfortable. The mattress is too thin. Otherwise perfect! Thanks!
Excellent cleanness and service
Nice lobby, nice pool
I loved that they were clean, well maintained and the person who checked us in was very friendly. There was breakfast in the morning with many options which I loved as well. Will stay here again.
My stay at Hampton Inn was very nice. With COVID and everything goign on, the precautions taken was very good. Room cleaning was upon request only, but towels were delivered daily if needed. I like that it was upon my request and not having someone coming in and out of our room during this time (pandemic) was comforting. The location was near the university; which is the reason I chose this hotel. I would definitely stay again. Nice, quiet, clean!
This is my fav Hampton ! Service from top to bottom the best
The room was very nice, modern and very clean. There was plenty of space, a large screen TV and the bed was comfortable as was the couch and chairs. My wife left her sandals in the room, when she called to inquire the staff offered to ship her sandals to our home and they were waiting when we arrived. We really appreciated that!
Hotel is conveniently located. Plenty of places around to eat and shop.

Laurel, Thanks for taking the time to write to us. Our hotel has a full "suite shop" available 24 hours a day, adjacent to the lobby which is why we do not have snack machines on the upper floors. The suite shop offers far more snacks and meals than a vending machine could. Next time, let us know you're hungry so we can provide you with a solution! We hope to see you next time you're in the Rochester area!

Thank you for your kind feedback. If you ever feel uncomfortable with the bedding during your stay with us please reach out to us immediately! We'd be more than happy to provide something to try to make the bed feel thicker and more comfortable.
We are glad to hear your stay went well! We hope to see you again soon. We appreciate your feedback!
