Reasonably nice hotel; reasonably priced. A bit far away from many restaurants. However, check in was very difficult due to problems with their system and a $50 deposit required. Desk clerk was rude when I complained about the length of time (over 25 min.) it took to check in.
In a nice area with access to stores and restaurants. The breakfast left room for improvement and variation.
Dirty sheets - made them replace them. Moldy cigarette smell in a non smoking room, bagel was full of mold. I’m not typically a complainer, but this was really bad.
Dirty toilet, yellow stains on the sheets, blood stains on the pillow cases, hair in the bed, old leftover food on chairs and benches in the room. Front desk staff extremely rude.
It was quiet and clean but the room was smaller than expected.

The sheets and comforter were dirty, appeared they had not been washed.
Quiet area and close by to family. There is a refrigerator in the room and a microwave in common breakfast area.
The Hotel itself is in a nice quiet location in Chili. There is wired internet which is a plus if you want to use for a computer. The breakfast overall is good. They have pancakes, donuts, muffins, and a few other things. The bathroom is on the smaller side and theres not a lot of table/desk space to place items that you may have. I can't say if it was just my room but for some reason it was difficult keeping the room warm. For instance I turned the Thermostat up to 74*F the heater would run to the desired temperature and stop however after a while the air would become cold in the room, like there was a draft. It just seemed like the room had poor insulation. The heater would eventually turn on again but I could tell at points in the night the air itself was cold. I didn't say anything as there's nothing I could see being done. But other than this everything was ok with the room.

First and foremost, I would like to thank you for choosing Microtel Inn and Suites by Wyndham!We appreciate the time you took out of your day to leave a review, and we sincerely apologize that the check in process took longer than normal. As you may know, we have just switched over to a completely new system. Although this new system is a positive upgrade from the old one, that upgrade comes with more complexity, different processes, and a whole new layout. There is a lot of learning that our staff is doing as fast as they can to ensure we get our guests checked in quickly and efficiently. I do apologize that you had a poor experience with the desk staff during your check in. Due to the switch over of our system, and the stress of making sure no errors are being made in the process of running the front desk, I can imagine the staff was feeling the pressure. That does not excuse poor communication and experience, however, and I will be speaking to the entire staff to remind them we always lead with understanding, respect and kindness when speaking to our guests.
