Good location, hotel wasn't bad

Had to wait 10 minutes to check in because the clerk was on the phone. There was not an indoor pool as pictured on the Orbitz site. The restaurant closed earlier than posted. The toilet ran all night. The room was extremely outdated. Someone was revving a motorcycle below our window late at night. For $170.00 a night, I kind of expected a free continental breakfast and not an unappealing buffet for $16.95.

Terrible customer service. Do not go here, especially if you book through Orbitz. They treat you as a second class citizen. I requested to Opt-in to room cleaning services. On the day my room was supposed to be cleaned it was not cleaned. I requested it be cleaned again in the afternoon and was assured it would be cleaned and they were taking care of "check outs" first before current guests. When I returned to my room late at night I found it wasn't cleaned. The front desk basically told me "That happens," and when I asked if I could get a discount, refund or some sort of voucher. I was met with "You booked through Orbitz." No matter what solution I asked for "You booked through Orbitz and not us," was the answer and was told "Any problems you have you need to talk to Orbitz about." They used Orbitz as an excuse for not doing their jobs.

Property has deteriorated beyond covid restrictions. Property owner should be making up for negatives created by covid issue and look for ways to enhance the property.

I like that it’s a clean, safe, classy place to stay!

2 weddings were being held. Our room was right above the dance floor. It was so loud that the room shook. I asked to have our room moved. We did and the newer room was even worse. We left and demanded a refund.

Maureen at the front desk was flawless. She made me feel like I was a guest in her house and it was a second home. Staff at Lorenzo’s is great Xenessa (sp?) was unbelievable! Will be back

The rooms themselves could definitely use some updating, but they’re very clean and well appointed. The staff - from housekeeping, to maintenance to front desk to restaurant/bar staff - were nothing but professional, helpful and super friendly. I’ve worked in hotels and restaurants and stayed in many, and this was one of my best experiences ever. Kudos to the Hilton Garden Inn on Staten Island!!!

Friendly staff, convenient location, reasonable rates.

This property was awful. Staff was rude. Fire alarm went off several times, and we were told to ignore. Halls reeked of marijuana and cigarettes. It was so noisy at night. I was surprised Hilton would put their name on this.

I was surprised there was no pool as this was a Hilton property. The bathroom was in need of some repair. Calking was missing around bathtub and mildew present.

Excellent parking, clean rooms, attentive staff, easy to get to

Hilton Garden Inn Staten Island could use some uodates / repairs to the rooms. It’s starting to show deterioration. Front desk staff over the Christmas Holiday was not representative of what I would expect of a Hilton, even a Hilton Garden Inn. Rooms are comfortable. Breakfast / restaurant is well run and food is fresh.
