The staff was accommodating and friendly. The room was comfortable. However it lacked what I consider basic hotel room essentials. For example, we had to call the front desk for an iron, and had to go down to the lobby for coffee in the morning, which was only available until 11am. Just little things like that we’re not convenient. Also, the bathroom had a window to the room, which was odd.

As expected in New York, the room is small compared to other U.S. locations. But the bathroom is very nicely remodeled, the bed is comfortable, there’s a fridge, desk, etc. This would be a good place to stay during the summer because they have a beautiful pool.

Great hospitality and wonderful staff, planning on booking again in the near future

Hotel is run down and cleanliness is questionable at best. There was hair in the corner of the room, the light switch cover was falling off as well as the bedside tables was literally coming out of the wall. The lobby/elevators and hallways all smelled super strongly of air freshener it made you wonder what it was covering.

Noisy fan in the hallway on 3rd floor. Either than that a great hotel in a great location. The L train was also not running that weekend.

Staff was very helpful. Rooms were small but typical in New York. Sorry that the rooftop bar was closed the 2 days we were there.

Wonderful hotel. Great location. Walkable to many great restaurants and the train. Highly recommended

Checking in was great, but later on I wanted to grab a bite, nor the hostess or the front desk had any menus for me to review, so I left to a neighboring restaurant. Unloading my Uber ride with 3 large suitcases and I looked into the hotel as all 3 attendant watched and did not offer to assist. I had to carry the bags up the stairs and load them onto the bell cart. The next day I left early and came back around 5pm to a room that was not made up. I called the front desk and they apologized and said that the housekeepers left already. I had to make the bed and clean up. Pretty lame, when I had a choice to stay at the Williamsburg hotel and wanted to give this one a try.

Quiet cool environment, clean and staff was helpful .

Staff was very friendly, design was nice. The facilities were lacking. Hallway carpets were stained. Bathroom towel had a giant rip down the middle. No bathrobes, no mini bar, not even bottled water for purchase in the rooms. Safe was broken. The hotel seemed pretty under booked yet we were given a room right next to the laundry room/closet. Hotel staff was in and out of the laundry room slamming the door. At one point a staff member was was listening to music on his phone speakers while standing outside our door at the closet. It wouldn't be a big deal except this was after 1am and we had a 6am.

If you need a great spot for a few nights in Williamsurg, this is a good choice. It's close to shops, subway and bars/restaurants. Staff were great, especially Martin who made us feel welcome from the second we opened the door. The manager was also great and helped figure out best transport options for us into the city and to airport.

popularity of room bar meant a lot of people around the hotel.

Had a bad experience in the middle of the night. Intermittent beeping noise (like a smoke detector battery going bad but softer). I called downstairs and eventually a maintenance guy came up and when I began explain the problem he finished my sentence as he knew exactly what I was talking about. He said the noise was coming from behind the wall and I would need to change rooms. Really. 3:40AM. I toughed it out and they gave me $50 towards my bill. Probably should have done more for a restless nights sleep. In addition - light next to the bed didn't work and the phone was not lit. And why can't placed put an outlet next to the bed for your iphone?!

The hotel and staff are amazing and the location is great, everything is in walking distance. The only problem was the price, for this price I expected more, a spa maybe? I just know I've dated at the W hotel for cheaper and have gotten more.

We came at 3:30 pm and the room was not ready. Front desk person was very unhelpful. He did not want to do anything. Everything what I asked he told me no. Not worst money what they charge. Very overpriced
