Pool was green Tv worked for about 30 minutes and would not turn back on after Not a big variety of breakfast waffle mix was out and it was super runny Central air was noisy
Room had used shampoo in bathroom, Wifi password wouldn't work, TV wouldn't turn on. Pool was green. Not a very good breakfast
Upon check in, we asked for a downstairs room. They were full. We asked for an elevator as we were checking in late and carrying sleeping children. No elevator. This was not a problem. We walked up to our room and upon rounding the corner to head to our room we noticed trash and broken glass scattered in the hallway. It looked like someone had broken the emergency fire extinguisher glass. I notified the front desk and it was cleaned up. The woman who manned the front desk was carrying on a phone conversation every time we walked past and only haulted her conversation when I approached her. This can convey that customers are being an inconvenience. The beds were very hard and there was chewed up gum stuck in our carpet. The upstairs windows had no screens, making this unsafe for guests with children. The housekeeping staff was very friendly. We noticed that our key card slot wasn't lighting up, and in fact it didn't work at all. Anyone could walk in or out of the room because it did not lock, leaving our belongings unprotected. We simply locked the doors while we were in the room using the chain locks for our safety. We took the kids swimming and there were no towels. The front desk lady said they were out of towels until someone showed up to do laundry...and that wouldn't be until after 10 or 11. What hotel doesn't have towels?! The beds were so hard and uncomfortable that I could not wait to get home. The toilet also clogged during our stay.
We had some issues at home with our water heater and decided to stay in a hotel one night so we could shower and what not before work the next day. I didn't expect this to be a great experience, obviously, for what we paid but was hoping we could do one night okay. Well, after checking in and finding our room we entered and it was seriously FREEZING in our room. I couldn't even take off my coat because it was so cold. So we turned on the heat and cranked it. Deciding to take the kids to the pool for a while and hoped it would warm up while there. The kids swam for about an hour and we ordered pizza delivery. Once the pizza cam we went back to the room and it was still freezing. I was also apprehensive about the cleanliness of the room and bathroom. The one electrical outlet by the bed was loose and hanging off the wall and seemed VERY unsafe. Needless to say we ate our pizza and then all of us took a quick shower and we decided to head home and sleep in our own beds. It sucked not having a morning shower but I felt better being in my own bed then that freezing dirty room! Would never stay here again nor recommend it to anyone!
It was clean & the staff was very helpful. It was very close to food and stores.
