When I checked into my hotel at 10am, there were trays left out by room doors along the hall. We left to go to the Mall at 11am and when we returned around 10pm, they were still there. I called the front desk and the lady stated that they would have them removed promptly. 6am the next day, the same exact food and trays were still there. Highly disappointed! I've never been to a hotel where room service garbage was to be left on the floor outside of room door. This invites bugs and insects. The hotel should instruct guests to leave trays in room until staff come by to clean.

The hotel itself was OK. Not spotlessly clean but tolerable. The staff was friendly and the bed comfortable. The thermostat in (apparently) all the rooms was pre-set to not go any lower than 66 deg and ran closer to 70 deg. I dislike not being able to set it myself. While this is very comfortable while up and moving, I prefer it colder when sleeping. And it's also nice if the fan would run - which it did not - to provide white noise. And since the hotel was evidently hosting several groups of very loud, inconsiderate people, white noise would have been welcome. I know a few people on my floor complained about the noise to the front desk but nothing was done. Lastly, I was shocked that the hotel charged for WiFi - cheapest was $10! I travel a bit and thought paying for WiFi was going the way of paying for cable TV in hotels. This wasn't a super-fancy hotel and most others in the same price range offer WiFi free. Since there are tons of hotel options in the area, this one might not be revisited.

Hotel staff, excellent. Beds are only doubles. Said it's sleeps 5,but barely sleeps 4.

The hotel pool and hot tub were great! The workout room was clean. The hotel rooms could have been a bit bigger.

Excellent place to stay when flying out of Minneapolis!

Very clean hotel, pleasant staff, friendly bellman, across the street from Mall of America, clean pool.

This was my first stay at this hotel, and I truly enjoyed it. Staff was wonderful, restaurant had a very good buffet, and the meeting facilities were very comfortable. I asked for a quiet room and got one, which was very clean and enjoyable. Bed was a bit on the older side, but that is my only negative comment. And it is very near the Mall of America, which was a great distraction during our free time at the meeting. Would definitely stay there again.

Our family of 4 met another family with kids here for a weekend. We were able to walk to the Mall of America and Ikea (our favorite breakfast destination) and truly could not have found a better location. The hotel pool was very nice - although very deep at the 9 foot end - and the staff, when needed, was attentive and responsive. There were some family reunions and a wedding each of the nights we were there, but noise levels seemed fairly well contained. Really a very nice experience.

The hotel was nice, staff was great. Beds were comfy. Was disappointed the pool was closed due to "weather". It was raining, not storming, and it's an indoor pool.

We were here only one night as we had early flights the next morning. They had shuttles not only to the airport, but the Mall of America. The staff was very helpful and pleasant. We ate at the restaurant that evening. Good food and attentive servers. Comfortable beds and slept good. Thank you!

IT IS PERFECT LOCATION FOR SHOPPING AT THE MALL OF AMERICA AND IKEA. VERY CLEAN AND SAFE LOCATION

The hotel was in general very good, but for the price, I think they could have dropped the $12 a day charge for unsecured wi-fi. Food was expensive, even continental breakfast, but the location was great. We could walk to Mall of America and it was close to the airport. Room was very comfortable, but little extras were sparse. No napkins with the in-room coffee. No shampoo. We found the staff very prompt and accommodating, though. Prepare to walk a lot! The hotel is very spread out. Plenty of parking. I think in the interests of good PR, the hotel management should reconsider the little extras which are free at most hotels of this caliber.

My wife and i went to a Vikings game. this was a perfect place to stay. It is located just 2 blocks from the mall of america. They have a free shuttle bus to the airport and also the mall. The rooms are very cozy. The employees are very nice. There is even a door man that opens the door for you at the main entrance. We took the shuttle to the mall and took the train from the mall to the metrodome. It only cost $7 for the trip to the dome and back wich was better then the $20 parking at the dome. Overall we really liked this hotel. This was the second time we stayed here and it wont be our last.

We have friends who lived there. Our friend drove us around sight-seeing around Minneapolis-St Paul. It was very cold, snowing and we had a really great time. We're from Hawaii and it was an experience and nice change of weather. Hotel was accross fr Mall of America and it was great. Hotel provided shuttle service to mall and airport. Excellent Hotel and friendly staff.

Our room was on the 5th floor all you could hear was the constant noise of airplanes, mold growing in the shower, the tub didn't drain properly so when you showered the tub filled, lights with bulbs burnt out

Very friendly staff, nice environment.

Cramped room; bathroom had no counter space or mirror; very limited closet space; bolt lock on door did not work; construction scaffolding right outside window and constuction work started before 8:00 AM; only luke warm water for shower; over-priced and not up to Marriott standards. Worst stay in a Marriott in 35 years of business travel, with the exception that the staff is very nice.

great location for shopping with Mall next door and easy to get in and out
