Good Staff and location. Overall good experience and worth the price.

Very good location. Nevertheless everything beside the reception is pretty much used up. Too expensive for the things offered.

The hotel is near the most crowded area of the beach which is great, just 3mins walk We were waiting for our room ready for too long and they upgrade our room ... So great service/staff.

I wouldn't stay here again. There was hair in the bath tub and toilet. The windows were broken, so sound from the Miami nightlife and heat came in the room all night long. The room was very musty, and the bathroom - pretty gross. The walls were super thin, so you could hear people in their rooms partying on top of the outside noise. Security was lacking, and I did not feel safe.

The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful goving us advice for lunch or dinner restaurants. Great location near the beach and surrounded by restaurants. Room cleaning service needs to be improved. They did not vacuumed the carpet at all while we were there (6 days). One day we ran out of towels because they only left 1 large towel and one wash cloth.

basic miami hotel however it was nice and good location to the beach

Pros: Awesome location, short walk to Clevelander, Mangos, Wet Willies and of course the beach. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Housekeeping did as good of a job as anyone could do with three guys in a room without having their moms there to pick up their socks. Beds were very comfortable and air conditioning worked flawlessly. They have a Spa on site with a menu of their services in every room. A convenience store next door, good for picking up snacks to keep in your room as you will have a small refrigerator and microwave. Also next door is a tour office so if you want to go sight seeing around Miami or take a day trip to Key West they will help set that up for you. Cons: No elevators or bellboys so you will have to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs to your room (if you stay on their 2nd floor). No parking lot so you you will have to park in the street, use a parking deck or valet service. No Valet service on the premises so you have to time it just right because once called they take about 15 minutes to pick up or drop off your car. Plus the Valet service gets paid separately so they are going to expect payment when they drop off your car or pick it up. As of 07/02/12 Valet service was $20 a day plus tip. I stayed in a studio and the bathroom was a little cramped. Overall my friends and I would stay again, the staff was great and the price compared to other hotels in the area was great. I'm constantly traveling to South Beach so I will look at them again.

First and most important their was an infestation of bugs in our room. The bugs were on the walls, curtains, bathroom, and even our BED, between the sheets. The shower head pressure was really low and the tub was old and rustic. The MOTEL ran out of face towels and beach towels. The building is old and the decor is out dated. Do yourself a favor and do not stay at this MOTEL.

don't stay here! They have bed bugs and roaches. I complained about the roaches and all they did was come kill them. When we checked in the hotel it was two dead roaches left on the floor. Not to mention they wear huge! It was crickets in the bathroom! And when I went to bed I noticed they had bed bugs so I asked for a new room. They gave me a new room and it was only worse! I left the hotel and went to stay somewhere else. The staff wasn't bad but the hotel Is def not up to par!

I went here with a bunch of friends. The rooms were OK with all furnishing with cheap Ikea stuff. The sheets and comforters looked clean but very used. There were few small roaches we killed, but no other creatures found. Noise level was good for most part, except when the trash collection truck came in early morning, forcing us awake. The best part is the location, very close to all the restaurants on Ocean Dr , and the night clubs on Washington Ave.

Stayed overnight before a cruise. Great room, spacious with nice kitchenette section and comfortable bed, along with dining table, flatscreen tv and walk in closet. Only downside was that the tub was a little weathered, not dirty at all, but poor appearance. Compared to other boutique hotels the room was much larger and would be excellent to stay in for multiple days. 2 minute walk to beach and right in the heart of south beach. Staff is helpful as well.

Great location, staff was very friendly, hotel was clean. Beds were surprisingly comfortable! The only thing that kept me from rating this a 4 was the bathtub (could stand to be updated). Overall, would stay there again for an inexpensive getaway.

good experience, staff was great, very helpful

This place is pretty clean and in a nice location with very nice staffs. It is designed for young travellers without a car. (although the valet parking was only $20). The place is somewhat like a upscaled hostel. But most hotels in miami beach is like that.. So it's loud!!! I woke up many times due to door snap noise and I could even hear the phone vibration from the next room!!!

Good value for location but water temp & pressure were very poor and the towels & beach towels were super small & almost see through. Other than that great times!

cruised the beach, did occean dr., lincon st.,a restraunt called the dinier is a must. ask the tour people what to do they are honest or fair,go a couple of blocks away from ocean dr. to buy groceries or booze it's cheaper, people watched, rented a car to go to the keys it's worth it. loved miami and area can't wait to go back it's like taking a sip of coffee and not finishing, there is so much to do

Nice place. We went for the beach, not to spend our time in the room, so you understand my angle on my comments. The room was nice but there was some lack of attention to the little details, missing towels, dishes but no dishcloth, etc. Did not appreciate unknown [*] (thanks to a previous couple). Excellent location, 1 block from the beach and Washington Ave (stores, restaurants, and nightlife). The service was excellent at the front desk, but that was the only contact we had with staff. Do not take a room near the main door opposite the front desk, the door slams and makes noise, especially late in the night with people coming back from the nightlife.

the rooms are spacious, the staff was friendly and the location was great

This hotel has a killer location only one block from the center of South Beach and right in the heart of the action. Nicely remodeled with great TV and nice kitchenette. Everything was super except the doors did not seal out the noise from the hallways and there was noise all night long. If you can sleep though some noise, this is an outstanding value when compared to other hotels on South Beach.

Very nice place and staff. It would be nice if there was a place to store luggage for early arrivals.
