I stayed for a couple of days, the room was well kept and cleaned during the days I was there. I was very happy with the breakfast selection and the front desk staff was polite and attentive. I would definitely recommend this Hampton Inn and Suites.
It was not a good experience having to fix my bed after being out in the sun all day. Housekeeping left dirty mop in my room and did not finish cleaning it. I had to put sheets and pillow cases on myself
I have stayed here several times on business. Every time has been terrific. Free Breakfast and Dinner. Place is super clean and everyone is friendly. i recommend this hotel to everyone. It is also near everything ....A+++
It felt as if they were expecting us to arrive. We felt welcomed and the entire process went very smooth. Not to mention our stay was so very relaxing. All registration was all done online. Had a great experience staying at this hotel. Room was very comfortable at a great price!
The lady working the breakfast area on Sunday morning 14 May decided to stop supplying the breakfast bar at 9:53 a.m. If breakfast is not provided anytime before 10: a.m. then guests should be informed of this at check in.
Room was very quite, and the highway was right next to the hotel. Staff was great. It was close to the San Juan Church, close to area restaurants. Easy to get too off the highway. We would stay again next time.
Great place with wonderful people and great suggestions about what to do in Victoria! I will definitely be back. And this is in a good part of town, and its nice that it is so close to the mall. Thank you.
The first iron in my room was extremely dirty and would have damaged my pants if I hadn't been paying close attention. They brought me another iron, but it didn't work well. I managed to make it work enough to not have an embarrassing wrinkle to my clothes, but would have definitely appreciated a working iron. The blow dryer was also not the best so I gave up on it and decided to roll down my windows to keep from getting to my meetings with a wet head. The internet went up and down several times, which caused me to be kicked off my office VPN. Inconvenient but not a deal breaker as it is very common in hotels. The hot items at breakfast could have used some freshness. I opted for the oatmeal and it was sufficient. The coffee downstairs was good. Coffee in the room was pretty terrible. On the good side, the bed was quite comfortable. The room was quiet and the black out curtain worked well. The price was right and the location very convenient.
Great staff which provided immediate attention and assistance checking in and checking out. Clean room and bathroom. Excellent location near stores and restaurants, and less than 2 miles from the airport.
So the nightmare began with an old, outdated hotel and a bunch of ignoramouses working the front desk with no real manager in sight. The dining area looks like an old funeral parlor. No pictures, colors,flowers, tv, music etc. Very uninviting with chairs scattered all over like a daycare. My kids toy room looks 10 x more clean and organized. Breakfest was weak. Next, I asked for room facing front of hotel and got one facing back. I asked for fridge like they had offered for antibiotic medicine and never got one all weekend. Toilet was leeking in restroom and hotel stingy with the towels. Most dissappointing of all was the fact that Karina at front desk charged my card $500.00, which was suppose to be a $5.00 charge at there lousy little store they have in the lobby. My vacation was ruined since no spending $. They gave me $200 cash back and My bank refunded remaining amount 14 long days later along with a $35 dollar overdraft fee from bank(thanks alot hampton inn). I had to call credit card fraud protection with my bank to get my money back because Manager Jessica echavaria couldnt give me my money back and offered no resolution or apology. Thought the nightmare was over. Here we are a month and half later and the hotel AGAIN took money from my account. Hampton INn Management instead of working with bank to clear up misunderstanding disputed my claim and again billed my card for $255.00. I call today and talked to Karina. I told her I paid for hotel stay through Tripadvisor way before check in, so why are you charging me $255.00 a month and half later. For what? What cost $255.00 at your lousy hotel if room is paid for already??? She sounds confused, not qualified and had trouble understanding simple arithmetic. In short, Hampton Inn You Charged me $500 first. You gave me $200 cash. You owed me $300!!! Bank refunded my money. It should be over. Why are you charging me $255.00, 1.5 months later. Time is money and your wasting my time and more $. Now i gotta call bank all over again and Hampton Inn to waste more time trying to retrive my money. If you value time, money, nice, clean hotel accomodations then I Would Definitely Stay Elsewhere! Read the reviews on trip advisor 1st and always depend on them. Stay away from this lousy hampton inn. Motel 6 probably better then this one.
