Not staying here again

We were in the area for a student drop off, and decided to here for the night. We were disappointed to say the least. The lone elevator was having problems so there were a couple of times where we had to wait a while to get on. The sign that rooms were cleaned only once every 3 days were a bit off putting as well. There was about 1/5th of a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom with no other rolls in the room. Finally, we woke up and noticed reddish bugs in the two beds. Some were dead but we found a couple that were alive. Yeah they were bedbugs. We ended up just getting out as soon as possible.

Inside our room was nice and clean. The lobby and breakfast area need some cleaning and maybe updating. The elevator was broken on the first night of our trip which was tricky with getting luggage upstairs, but was fixed by the second night of our stay. I will say the rules regarding housekeeping seemed a little overkill--they only clean the room every three days, and you have to take your dirty towels to the front desk to get replacements--we only got 3 towels for your 4 person room... We have stayed here before, but will probably pick somewhere different for our next trip.

The 1st room they assigned me had dirty linens but they were really nice about moving me to a different room and i had no issues after that. The breakfast was very basic, boiled eggs in lieu of scrambled so i just grabbed apples. Overall, very nice and i would stay there again.

The bathroom sink leaked. The baseboards were taped, the bed headboards all the leather was peeling off, kids were so loud the police had to be called. I should not have to pay 250.00 for a room like a motel 6. Terrible and will never stay here again and should get a refund

Smelly and dirty

Staff were friendly and inviting. The room smelled like mildew or bug spray, I couldn’t tell. Nonetheless, the room had a smell to it. The chair in the room had a rip in the fabric and stains all over the arm rests, not something I’d want to even sit on. The throw pillows on the loveseat had stains as well. Needless to say, with the smell and the dirty furniture, I won’t be staying there again.

First,upon walking into my room after check in, the AC was completely off, curtains open and the room was 80 degrees. It is July in Texas, the AC should be at least set to 75. Fortunately, I had somewhere to be right after check in so I turned on my AC and left.When I returned, it had cooled off some but it was still uncomfortably warm. I contacted the front desk, she explained that it was normal, took me to a room down the hall to see if it was cooler and of course it wasn’t because the system was off. She turned it on and it never actually turned on. She offered to move us to another room but it was late and I didn’t want to wait hours for another room to cool off so I could sleep. The owner must need to save a few bucks but he certainly isn’t spending it upgrading the rooms.The room itself is in rough shape. It desperately needs upgrading and repairs done. The toilet seat was broken, the shower head was sticking out of a hole in the wall, the leather part of the headboard was torn, the bottom of the bathroom door had chipped paint. Last, housekeeping needs to be retrained on how to clean a room properly. There were rings on the surface indicative of a cup sitting there so that surface hadn’t been wiped down, same with the desk. The shower head was completely crusted over with grime and hard water, hair on the counter and most importantly NO toilet paper. This hotel is priced far above what it’s worth. It should be priced as a Super 8 or similar bc that’s the quality it is

Boys trip

My wife made this reservation for me so I could have a boys weekend with my sons. The hotel is easy to access from the frontage road, but has no access from the back road. Room was clean, you can tell it has been well used. It needs a little TLC, but very comfortable. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fresh, and delicious. I would definitely bring my wife here and stay.

Terrible Experience.

Terrible, the elevator did not work, I had to switch rooms because of a very loud noise coming from the room telephone, in the morning they only had decaf coffee in the room and when we complaint to the front desk, the attendant was terribly rude.
