Best continental breakfast I have had. The staff is extra friendly and rooms were clean and comfortable. We would use this hotel again with hesitation.

It was better than the place up the road but the overwhelming smell of dampness/possible mold that was just painted over was over powering. There was a “tree” car freshener on ac unit vents and damp rid containers in every corner. The beds appeared to be clean but the shower/bathroom area had room for improvement and left us feeling uneasy about the other areas of the room. Staff was friendly and they do offer breakfast and coffee. I’ve stayed at a few places in Maggie valley and this gets 5 of 10 stars from my family.

The views of the area were great! Also, you can't beat that fresh mountain air in the summer. The lady working the desk was very friendly and helpful.
I just came back from a great experience at the Best Western Mountainbrook Inn. The staff was very personable and everyone I encountered went out of their way to make sure me and my 7-year-old son had a comfortable stay. The two ladies in the front office were AMAZING! I got one of their names… A big shoutout to Tianna! (I’m sorry I most likely spelled that wrong.) Even the housekeeper made sure to keep me stocked on everything I needed in the room. The location was extremely close to Cataloochee and conveniently located near several places to eat. Rooms were updated and clean. We had two queen beds with a total of 8 fluffy pillows! There was a crew working on repainting the outdoor furniture, which showed that they cared about the upkeep of their property. Overall, I highly recommend staying here if you’re headed to this area to ski or snowboard.
I made The mistake of booking up the road at Ramanda the first night in town and it was disgusting and staff did not wear masks. Best western was so clean, friendly and following Covid protocol. In my reviews for Ramada and complaints to their corporate I suggested All who are needing a room in Maggie valley to go to best western! Thank you for the great experience.
This is not a new hotel but it is very well maintained and in a good location.
I always stay here when I come to Maggievalley and I am never disappointed!
