The lady who checked us in was very very nice. Other than that, the place is a dump. Stayed there to save some money because it was only one night and we were out most of the night but i cant help but say that this hotel chain is in bad shape. Really bad shape. Talking trash in the hallways, smoke smell, just bad. Feel bad for the people working there, they do a good job but dont have much work with. Do a better job Motel 6

Our room was given to somebody else without noticing us. We tried checking in but was told that our room was given to someone else. Even in the policy it said we can check in anytime and we just got there after a long drive. Not only that but they didn’t even get another room for us and had to find somewhere else to stay. Horrible experience to say the least.

The listing touts “daily housekeeping” but there as NO housekeeping my entire 5 night stay. I did mention it to front desk and reported Expedia each day but never corrected. Am promised refunds but nothing yet. Hotel very warn and one outstanding de door did not lock. Was given no shampoo just tiny bars of hand soap. Had to get towels myself and was never provided toilet paper. A fridge staying at the same time in the second floor reported bugs. Probably the worst hotel I have ever stayed in.

The room smelled, black mold on ceiling of bathroom. Noisy, Smell of people cooking in their rooms. A depressed area of Madison with many homeless. (The issue is that our culture makes having people who can't afford housing have no place to safely go.)
