I was pleased with the room, service and the breakfast the next morning. It had shuttle service to the capitol and downtown area. Very good motel but it's a Best Western so I shouldn't be surprise by the quality. It's the type of quality I've experienced at other Best Western's.

Unaware the hotel was upgrading all their doors so a lot of construction workers on site. All staff extremely polite. Had to shorten our stay and the Managers( Keith and Joe) accommodated this request without penalty.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. Location is easy to get in and out of as well.

Location is fantastic and late night staff were nice. I could've done without the snark at check in. I understand it was busy, but you know your job is to be pleasant despite it. The air conditioning unit in our room didn't work. The unit got power but wouldn't turn on. It turned into a sauna. I would've cracked a window but they were locked shut. Our refrigerator turned off in the middle of the night thawed and leaked water. The wall paper was also peeling off of the wall and looked moldy. Our room clearly was one that barely gets check out which is OK, but I would've hoped the additional add ons would've atleast worked. When checking out the staff said there was nothing they could do to compensate me for my rooms clear issues because I booked through Orbitz. Needless to say I feel a bit robbed and should've just slept in my car. Atleast the AC works in there.

The hotel was nice, just off of the uw Madison campus. 10 minutes to the capital. Very clean, pool was warm, which was relaxing. The free breakfast buffet was an added bonus to the stay.

Super fun! Great breakfast. Wonderful and friendly staff! We will return!

Good area. Was able to bike ride into campus to hang out by lake. Took the bus taxi to town later for dinner. Cheap $10 can ride home. Woke up to a really good breakfast. Well worth the money!

Located very near to downtown Madison. Also close enough to bars and restaurants and other businesses. Clean rooms and good amenities.

We found a clean, comfortable place to stay overnight for a college visit. The location was ideal for walking around campus and looking a housing options.

It was a clean nice hotel. The staff was friendly and conviently located to the hospital. Also was appreciated shuttle to hospital.

Stayed here for 1 night due to my original hotel not being available for the day I arrived. The walls were thin and we could hear our neighbors. It met my needs for the one night stay, but I would not be able to stay more than one night.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the staff was extremely accommodating. I would definitely recommend the Inntowner to friends.

The Bestwester InnTowner seems great and it was not a terrible experience. But considering the price and the promised amenities I felt a big let down. Service was always very slow. Some of the people behind the desk were apologetic but others were curt and unfriendly. The room was very clean and comfortable, but the heater/cooler didn't work. Rather than try to switch rooms I unplugged it and the temp of the room was fine. Breakfast had lots of options but one of the coffee dispensers was consistently broken. The hotel is about 2 miles from downtown, which I didn't mind walking. But the hotel offered a free shuttle. The one night that I tried using it I was told it would be there in 15 minutes, and I waited outside in the cold for almost an hour. Finally they called a cab to pick me up and paid for that. Small favors. Overall, not a bad place to stay but don't expect things to go smoothly.

Although I was "upgraded" to the club level the room I checked in to was old appearing. Chipped paint on paneling around the mirror. The thermostat appeared to be working but it took 24 for the room to warm up. There is only one elevator for the whole building so budget additional time for getting out of your room and to the lobby level in the morning. The staff were kind, the hot breakfast had decent selection (but no hot chocolate) and the location is great for any UW or stadium needs. In the end, this is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for and for the price I can't complain.

Very nice hotel. Staff was great. Room was recently renovated and very clean.

The staff was awesome Very clean room Close to downtown

The room was a bit expensive, and had an odd mix of modern and old features. The bathroom seemed well used, but clean as far as i can tell. The TV and entertainment center were very new.

possibly bed bug bites in the bed closest to the window (not that we care)... otherwise we were very impressed by staff, quality of room, and breakfast!

If you are looking for a good deal close to campus you really can't beat the Best Western. The rooms are nice enough and the shuttle will take you within two miles which will get you within walking distance of most downtown attractions. The biggest drawback is that there is only one elevator, so during peak time you may be waiting to go up or down.

I was really amazed at the quality of the King room. It had a very nice pull-out working desk that me and my biz partner used to get some work done while I was on my way to the Horribly Hilly Hundreds biking event 40 minutes from Madison. This place is very accessible to nearby Madison collegiate bars and grill, shops, the capitol, campus, etc. and was a great home station for an afternoon bike ride. I highly recommend. Bring your bicycle, park your car, and explore the rolling hills of Madison. Great location if you're doing the Iron Man or other cycling specific events in and near town, near enough to Verona and Blue Mounds offering far better quality that what you can get out there. The Blue Mounds state park is 40 minutes west. So you can sleep until 5am and peel out and still make the 6:45 Horribly Hilly Hundreds start time with enough time for a big breakfast, packet pick-up, etc. There are a few bicycle shops within 5 car minutes or 10-15 bicycle minutes. Nice Italian restaurant across the street and some sushi and a few other options next door. Very peaceful area far away from late night partying but close enough to indulge if you want to. Ride bike (recommended) or drive car to public parking garage near the capitol. Head to Jamba Juice to get your Beet Juice for the endurance event. :) I will likely repeat.
