The front desk staff is super sweet and helpful, but the rooms were dirty. I had blood on the bathroom vanity and peanuts on the floor in the first room and misc other big items ( hair clips, locks of hair, plastic, etc.) on the floor in the second room. The side entry door and gym locks were malfunctioning. The tv lost signal repeatedly. Then breakfast came and even though the hotel was only 30% booked they ran out of food at 8:30am. I think this hotel has potential to be nice, but they really need a new cleaning staff and maintenance staff.
Nice people great pool its around alto of great restaurants and service is great gym is great everything is just awesome nice food great parking extremely clean really nice look elevators are great and great rooms and bathrooms and comfy beds
on our way to the smokey mountains we stopped and spent the night. The stafg was nice and the price was competitive. Some areas could need alittle update , but over all it was a good stay. We did have a small problem that thw building was hit by lighting during a storm and set off the gire alarm on the 4th floor for 2 1/2 hours
We only stayed one night while passing through but what a wonderful experience. We were met at the door by a cheerful desk clerk. She was polite and thanked us for coming. We found our room to be beautifully decorated and most importantly clean. In the morning we went down for coffee and there was a scrumptious breakfast with an attentive hostess that actually talked to each one of us making sure that we were happy and had everything we need. All in all I would recommend staying at this location.
This hotel was a stop for us on the way to Florida. Check in was quick and easy and our room was large enough for my family of 5. And the beds were The-Most-Comfortable-Beds-Ever!!! (Although if you don't like your beds on the soft side, you probably will not agree with that.) The free breakfast in the a.m. was of typical quality/variety. I would come back again!
We stopped on the way back to Kentucky after staying a week in Orlando at Walt Disneyworld. We could not find a hotel anywhere on the way back and my wife called and found one room here. It was very nice and very clean. All we did was sleep and I have to say it was way bigger and the bed was way better than our accommodations at Disney. We rate this very high.
Traveling north from Florida and stayed on 5/13. This was a king bed with a great mattress, great room layout with separate space to watch TV and lounge on sofa. Unusual layout with separate space for toilet (not a fan of the pocket door) and for the sink and shower area. Nicely decorated, clean and well appointed. Very pretty lobby area and breakfast area. The things that stood out were that everything was immaculate, the breakfast bar was fresh and hot and every employee in the hotel was gracious. Two smiling gals came through the breakfast area asking if everything was ok and they could get anything for anyone. Astonishing! Novel! Wonderful!
We stopped on route to Florida from Tennessee. Rented three rooms using points. Sofa beds added a lot of flexibility when traveling with children. I did a lot of research and this came out with a high ranking which didn't disappoint. Breakfast was ok but ended early (9:39) for a Sunday.
We had requested a room with 2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa- as we were traveling with 3 kids. When we arrived at hotel at 9:00 pm we were given a room that had NOT been cleaned- with our very late arrival the front desk seemed unsure what to do at first, we asked for a new room - they said we couldn't switch rooms because there were 5 in our party. Then they asked if we wished for housekeeping to be called up?!? YES!! Their was leftover food and messes all around from previous guests. There were a large group of girls across the hall being noisy all night. We chose to have housekeeping called back to clean our room and change the sheets. It was 10:30 pm before we were able to even begin to get settled in our room for the night. Both my husband and I tried speaking with front desk about this situation but got NO support or answers from front desk staff. Also- shower had a missing piece to allow it to work, when we called front desk to report they acted as if we didn't know how to operate their shower head, and there was NO hair dryer in our room. While the beds were comfortable and the AC worked well- the customer service is lacking and this location does not meet Marriott's high standards of operation. Avoid if you can - we ended up with more consistent results staying at other chains the rest of our trip. NOTE: the room we were given did not look like any pictures on hotel website- there was no room divider in our room. We could have easily slept all 5 of us in one of the other rooms with the divider putting one of our older kids on the sofa in the living area- but they wouldn't let us change to do that. Not an easy hotel to to work with and not good customer service in our experience- with the exception of the gentlemen who we saw briefly at checkout when we went to make sure they fixed some things in that room before it would be assigned to anyone else, he was sympathetic to our situation but was helpless to do anything about it at that point.
The hotel itself is simply amazing. Very clean and neat. However, the customer service was not up to par. Upon arrive while in the lobby waiting to be checked in with others there was a discussion amongst some individuals about job training and being charged an incidental fee. The two front desk workers were explaining to some of the ladies that they would be charged a refundable small incidental fee until check out. While I'm standing in the back of the line waiting to be checked the front desk worker (a female) went to get a manager. When the manager Erica walked up she looked right me and was VERY DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, and RUDE to me about an incidental fee when I didn't have a problem paying the fee. I advised her that I didn't have a problem paying the fee and she didn't have to speak to me in such a rude manner because I'm not sure what the issue was. Erica then stated "what was I called up here for?" I advised her "I'm not sure to ask her employee because I'm waiting to get checked in and didn't have a problem with the fee". The manager Erica then stated good she wasn't about to argue with me, stared at me, rolled her eyes and walked into the back. I was speechless because I was waiting in line with my coworker as we are here for job training and the manager Erica was RUDE for no reason. The other customers asked the two front desk workers what was the manager's issue because she was rude and didn't belong in customer service. Aside from the HORRIBLE customer service experience with the manager Erica, the hotel is very nice.
