Our stay was ok but they had a happy hour that was really nice. They had free ice cream sundays and free wine & beer for an hour and a half what more could you ask for. The location was a little off the beaten path, but the rooms were clean and comfortable.
This was a miserable stay. Rooms very small. Paper thin walls. Lots of full time residents that played loud music. Had to call front desk on cell as room phone didn't work. Hotel in need of upgrading. There are other, nicer residence inns nearby. Avoid this one if you can.
We booked this hotel for an overnight stay between connecting flights. Upon arrival at LAX shortly after 10pm we called for their shuttle only to be told the shuttle does not operate after 10pm. This should have been mentioned in the booking. They did however cover the cost of a taxi after brief argument. Then in the morning we were booked on a 6am shuttle back to the airport. At 6am there was a van but no driver until 6:15. They use a third party service for drivers and it was clear the service has been letting down the hotel and it was a known issue. We eventually made our flight but this is an unacceptable delay. I still give them 3 out of 5 stars as they didn't totally fail to provide the service and the room itself was okay (only okay mind you) but it wasn't seamless and seamless is what you expect when paying Marriott prices.
Flying out of LAX and stayed one night after a few days in Anaheim. Clean, comfortable and convenient. The very helpful front desk agent was able to check us in early. I had requested a pack and play but by the time we returned to the room in the evening it was not yet there. Thankfully it was quickly rectified. Would definitely return.
The subject is what I overwhelmingly felt like at this location. The room had an odor of a strong cleaning product which would not go away, the hallways were completely mired with uber-strong odor of marijuana, two of the washers in the guest laundry had "out of service" sheets on them, and the one that worked had no soap in the auto-dispenser (found out the hard way after putting in the $1.25 for the wash). Called the front desk ans someone came up 15 minutes later to add it. When we went to use the pool, their was a small film crew interviewing someone who was seated right in front of the gate where the guests go in.Told the front desk and we were asked to give them 5-10 minutes to "wrap up", since they were interviewing a former action-surfer guy who is now blind and a frequent guest at this hotel. Once we got to the pool, I jumped in to experience it since I came from the northeast and wanted to enjoy a heated pool in February, only to look up and see a sign that read "if you have diarrhea do not go in the pool"...ugh. Never used it again and left immediately. There are no safes in the room, but was told we have the option to use a security deposit box located in the front desk area. When I went to use it, I asked the woman behind the counter (about 9:30am) who then did a "ugh" gesture, threw her key on the counter in disgust, to which I loudly asked her "is there a problem, are we keeping you from something"? After asking her she did a classic passive-aggressive move and behaved very politely, then pretending there was nothing wrong. Finally I left a belt in the room after I returned home, so I called three times to inquire to the lost and found, and despite having been told they would check with housekeeping, to date no one has returned my call. Parking is great, and the breakfast in the morning was very good and complete. Overall I would not stay here again, if they were just a bit more attentive and polite, I would. Perhaps it was just my luck. I was hoping to at least received a call regarding my lost item.
Super clean rooms and the staff knows what customer service means, they go the extra mile and always with a smile on their face. I would highly recommend this hotel if traveling near LAX. We will be back.
Terrific place to stay before flying back to the East coast. Pleasant happy hour, convenient location. Heated pool and very nIce rooms. Breakfast is terrific and incredibly varied day to day. This is a terrific find.
Stayed this hotel for a night before flying out. Though, this hotel is a combination of old and new layout of Residence inn, the front desk are friendly. Bed is comfortable and most importantly the cleanliness of the public areas as well as the room that I had been. The only downside was the location of the rooms which is separated from the main building. A little bit inconvenient when it's raining because surely you will be drench with water by walking outside entering the other building. The breakfast has less choices of food compared to other residence inn but it is better to have one than nothing at all. Overall, it was a nice stay.
This Residence Inn had friendly staff, great breakfast, great housekeeping, and comfortable rooms. I had a fireplace in my room as well as a full kitchen. There is a nice pool with hot tub. Very Very pleased with this hotel.
We had a great night at this hotel. The room was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was better than your average hotel. We stayed here cause of the close proximety to LAX. On;y a few minutes away. Great place to stay while on business or visiting Los Angeles.
