Our stay at la Quinta was great. Great people great service
Friendly staff great location very helpful people who are working here.. Never had a problem except maybe I was late to extend my room and they were all booked up
Clean, and a place to pass out from emotional weariness.
Good location, easy access to the university. Good stay.
Very clean hotel! Great amenities! Will stay here again.
The hotel location was perfect, walking distance to the mall, gourmet deli, and not far from car rental services. The gym was perfect for a short workout. The breakfast hours and breakfast choices were perfect. I would recommend this hotel to everyone going to New York
Staff on arrival was fine, although with one person it was obvious English was her second language. But we worked thru it OK. Two double beds, which I did not like. I'd have preferred Queen. But OK. Fairly comfy beds. TV average size and number of channels. Bathroom was roomy. Good cleanliness. Except my girlfriend saw a bug about an inch long under the telephone. Screamed and dropped the phone. Personally I think it was much ado about nothing, but she freaked out. Overall clean and pleasant, but at over $200 not a bargain. Breakfast was passable but not great. I would not recommend nor would I say it sucked--I'd say it is passable.
Beds were comfy. Bathroom needed to be cleaned better. Staff was super friendly and accommodating.
Shower didn't seem clean and water pressure and temperature were poor. A terrible shower experiernce.
feel so comfortable, free wifi was great! the location is a little bit far, but there are so many CVS nearby.
Clean rooms staff was very friendly breakfast was ok overall good location forgoing to the races at Belmont Park!
It was fine. Staff was nice. Room was clean which is most important. Breakfast was the same on both days which I didn't like. It was a little pricey for what I got but that have been more because of location. If a place is not clean then I would never go there again. This was clean so I would stay there again.
I was welcomed into a beautiful lobby, and then directed to a clean and crisp bedroom. The sheets were like new, the room smelled fresh. LQ left information that I used, such as restaurants that deliver, and how to call for room service. It was convenient, comfortable and luxurious. Most of all, it was quiet and relaxing! which was the reason my love and I needed a get-a-way.
Large, sunny room with adequate heating, plus a small fridge and microwave. Friendly staff. Nice firm mattress. My one criticism is the lack of room service.
if u want to wake up with a bug in your hair,if you want to see bug bit your baby's feet and see red spots on her feet and see your baby crying for hours,if you want to see a rude manager ignore you when u ask about something missig in your room and tell you that u make every things up after she fools u to get the bug!just go to this hotel!
The hotel was comfortable and clean with easy check-in. The continental breakfast was nice and the staff pleasant. The hotel has a small whirlpool and no pool however the fitness center was nice.
We were her for a college orientation. We were VERY pleased with our previous visit, but this time they were out of nonsmoking rooms, and the room we got smelled nasty. Whatever they were masking the smoke with was worse than the smoke smell itself.
I was travelling for the US Open at Bethpage black. This hotel was convenient with restaurants close by and access to tv viewing when needed. Courteous staff and clean rooms.
Compared to other hotels in this price range, this was totally superior.
La Quinta Inn is located on Stewart Avenue in Garden City, in close proximity to Glen Cove Road, the Wantagh Expressway, and the business complex that now occupies the old Mitchel Field airfield. In short, the location of the hotel makes it fairly convenient to access many of the main arteries on Long Island. The implication here is that an automobile is a necessary evil if one chooses to stay at this hotel (caveat: the hotel is about two miles from the Long Island Railroad's Garden City train station). The staff were very polite and efficient. Our room (my wife accompanied me on this trip) was spacious and exceptionally clean. I would definitely choose this hotel again the next time I visit Long Island by automobile.
