Easy to find, good first impressions. No parking on or near site, had to walk 10 minutes from an expensive car park. The rooms were extremely small, although the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size with a fab shower. Continental breakfast included with a good variety. Wouldn't stay here again due to small rooms and the price paid.
Spent £180 odd for a TINY twin room and a bathroom so small you could barely get in and close the door behind you! Arrived back at 11.30pm for a final drink to find the bar closed and no one prepared to serve the several residents hoping for a drink. I have never stayed in a hotel that wouldn't serve residents drinks at the end of an evening. The photos of the rooms are not realistic...much much smaller than shown and the noise through the paper thin walls is ridiculous. No breakfast included...thats another £11. Would I come back? No. Never.
Room was small, but typical for London. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was sparse. Ok, I can deal with that. My friend and I stayed 3 nights at this hotel before leaving on a trip to Ireland. We had already booked a one night stay upon our return 12 days later. I asked at the desk if I could leave a very small piece of luggage full of dirty clothes, some shoes, etc until I returned. I was told no, so I asked for the manager. He refused, saying it was "their policy". I said they could look inside to see what was there. I asked if he could please make an exception. Again I was told no! When I threatened to cancel my return reservation he was fine with that. So now I have to pay over $50 to Ryan Air to check my bag of dirty clothes. I have traveled all over the world and this is not an unusual request. With so many London Hotels to choose from in this price range, I would definitely recommend going somewhere else where there is a real "manager".!
So, this hotel market itself as a modern boutique hotel with great location in central London. Although the hotel is modern and small (in many respects), I would not classify it as a through boutique hotel, both the amenities and service is not up the the standards of a through boutique hotel. However, my room was clean, the hotel serves a decent breakfast, and the location is great (3min walk from Paddington station and Heathrow Express). I travel quite a lot (business and pleasure) and I have never stayed in such a small room (not since student halls anyway), and as a traveler I think it would be useful if the hotel actually states the room size on the webpage (maybe they do but I did not book the room myself as it was business). Nevertheless, given the decent price for the room, £ 372 for three nights, and the location, I would recommend this hotel for solo travelers and possibly couples.
This hotel is good choice for those which wants hotel near Paddington Station. Cleaned, a cozy. Breakfast was good. For choice continental breakfast, or English breakfast for pay.Room, so just, not big, but not small. every day cleaning.
Short walk to Paddington station.I catch the Heathrow Express to tho hotel(airport-paddington)The bed was very comfortable ;have tea &coffee but no water : bathroom is well.Nice &clean rooms.Easy to go everywhere.
4 star hotel, we booked double room , room was tiny ...bed was tiny ... BUT ... room had everything, aircon, fridge , Tv, kettle ....very clean ..not much space to put luggage ( 2 people for double room ) Stayed here 4 nights ,was sick when we arrived , but still couldn't get in any earlier ( 3 pm check in) unless want to pay £69 . Put luggage in storage, went for walk had some lunch , got back at 1.30 and our room was ready so we were able to get in . Was a great stay , clean , breakfast included ( continental was enough ) , all in all was a good stay .but would probably upgrade for more room ...
I stayed here for work. The room was very small and the bed was a small double and pressed against the wall. There was a small desk and the shower room was good size with double shower cubicle. The lift was small and very slow! I was on 5th floor and took ages when called. The TV was just Freeview and the wifi was slow! For the cost £134 this looked good value but breakfast was not included! Air con in the room was nice touch and would have been uncomfortable without it as the window only opened a few inches! The room had a fridge and safe which I thought was a good touch. Location was also good just round the corner from Paddington underground!!
I stayed here with my husband for a weekend break. It was a NIce hotel, clean rooms however the room and the bathroom was very small but as we weren't in it very much this didn't bother us. They served a good breakfast and it was only a short walk from Paddington Station so we were able to do lots of sight seeing. It had some nice bars and restaurants close by as well.
