Having stayed at Mimi's before, this experience was very disappointing. Upon immediately arriving in our basement room, the stench of either moldy water/garbage took over the room and we had to immediately switch. We were sent to the annex across the street in a room slightly bigger - but with bigger problems than a smell. Not only was this room up a steep flight of stairs, the room's paper thin walls were shared with that of a nightclub which kept us up for most of the night [this was a Monday- not even a usually boisterous Soho weekend]. When I called reception during this experience, to ask for a late check out, that was met with disdain, and when I explained we had an important morning ahead and that the noise through our wall was beyond disturbing, we were told "this is central London". I have stayed in central London for almost 20 years now- and never had noise or room quality issues- or stayed somewhere where I knew this would be a risk. This hotel was not cheap and the fact that I paid to be kept up all night with two hours of sleep was ridiculous and defies the point of staying in a hotel. Do not advertise on your website that "All rooms offer high end luxurious finishes with a maximum sound insulation for the walls and doors" if you're not going to actually insulate all hotel rooms. And do not treat customers with an eye roll attitude and make them feel completely uncomfortable and ruin their experience much further.

It was a great location in Soho. It was a little lively Friday and Saturday, but fairly quiet during the week days. The apartment itself was very clean, nice and designed well. We had a studio with a mini fridge and bar area. Will stay here again.

Location is excellent. Staff was always available and friendly. I did not like that the lobby door was kept open, letting in the cigarette smoke from the out side table. I am a non smoker and found this irritating when I tried to sit in the lobby bar.

Upscale, great location near metro and Chinatown, comfortable bed

I thought my room last week was tiny! LOL This week, I got an even smaller room. But I managed quite nicely. Though small, the rooms are well appointed and everything works. I liked my stay here because of the location: Middle of Soho, easy walk to all West End theaters, Chinatown, Piccadilly, the Tube to anywhere, all an easy walk. Nightlife around every corner! And the hotel bar and staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Best Soho location! Attentive and extremely friendly staff, a cute little bar with well crafted drinks, and excellent beds and linens. The rooms, however, are TINY TINY TINY! If you are prepared for that, you'll do fine. After all, it's the location you're after!

Staff is amazing, location is great, bed is amazing - room size was too small to open my suitcase - it had to go on the bed....
