Excellent location...room very comfortable and clean. We had to ask for bathrobes(it was stated they were included in the room). We had a two night stay but our robes had been removed when the room was serviced! I thought it strange but the desk was very obliging in replacing them. The restaurant manager at breakfast was so lovely and friendly, she was the icing on the cake! A very pleasant weekend break.

Stayed at the Crown plaza docklands last weekend for 1 night on a Friday. Check in was quite quick and reception took 50 deposit for incidentals no problem. Room was lovely and big with a nice birthday treat waiting from the hotel. Pool and spa area was OK, needed a little updating but OK for a city hotel. At night was woken around 12/1 with noise/partying from overhead, complained at reception in the morning and was greeted with mild apologies, did not really feel listened to. Breakfast was lovely with myself and daughter feeling really looked after, especially manager of breakfast, can't remember name sorry. Checked out no issues, unfortunately then looked at bank statement few days later and £40 had been debited from my account additional to the price of the stay??. Not sure if this was a fraudulent act/transaction?? Please beware. Called the hotel who gave me managers e mail address, still awaiting response. Its a real shame that this has happened as it has spoil the stay and I won't be staying at any Crown plaza again in the future. The Hilton group can gave my money from now on.

Stayed here with my husband and some friends on a Saturday night. It is quite a way out of the centre but was fine. The rooms were pretty standard, shower was lacking in power. The breakfast in the morning was really good with full English and healthier options.

Where do I start? I booked this hotel via booking.com a week before our stay, It was for my partners birthday surprise trip to london. I emailed the hotel prior to our visit to see if the hotel would cater for the celebration, all i can say is they went above and beyond to facilitate this! When we arrived we were greeted by an italian receptionist who was very polite and welcoming. We had arrived a few hour early but we werent sent away in the usual come back later fashion we have recieved in the past. We were booked in and even greeted with a complimentary room upgrade mainly due to the email i sent prior to coming. Our room wasnt ready at this point but was told to come back in 50 minutes but the whole booking in process and parking was all sorted so i did not need to worry about that. Me and my partner took a walk around the beautiful docklands a very clean and beautiful walk and a visual of the o2 can be seen aswell. PERFECT! When we returned to the hotel to get to our room we was yet again greeted by a friendly receptionist. A young lad with blonde hair who again wished us a great stay and wanted to help any way he could. We made our way to our room and entered....... WOW!!! They had listened to my request to make the room romantic for my fiancee , They made 2 swans out of towels and made them in the shape of a heart and put a rose and rose petals in the middle. Simply amazing 5 star service all around. The beds were comfy the view was amazing over looking the docklands and thames and a clear veiw of the o2 aswell. My partner left the hotel at about 4 to go to a theatre show when we returned they had made a birthday card for my fiancee and left a plate of fruit and cake as a birthday gift. Fantastic. We opted for breakfast also when we arrived for breakfast we was greated by an amazingly kind and happy member of staff named samantha. The breakfast itself tasted good and offered alot of different options! Overall this hotel is the first hotel we have stayed in across the whole world who has gone above and beyond and fulfiled everything we could ask for! The first hotel i could not find anything out of place or not good enough Well done to all the staff! You made mine and my partners visit to london complete and can not thank you enough! we will be returning in the future and joining up to the IHG club just for this !!

Located in the Docklands area of London next to the Excel Exhibition Centre and just across the river from the O2 Arena the hotel offers great deals when there are no events taking place. Access is quite easy using the DLR, to Royal Victoria, and a 3 minute walk. For a more dramatic arrival you can take the Emirates Skyline from North Greenwich across the Thames to almost the doorstep of the hotel. The Skyline costs £3.50 if you use your Oyster or Pay As You Go card. A friendly welcome and acknowledgment of my IHG Rewards Club Membership, which gave me a room upgrade. I had booked breakfast as they offered a discounted rate of £10 when booking online. The room allocated was a Superior on the 3rd floor overlooking Victoria Dock with a view of the O2 and Skyline. The extra large bed, a super king, was very comfortable and as I was alone superb from sprawling out - I woke in the middle of the night to find myself lying across the bed at a right angle and still fitting in nicely. Tea and coffee are provided plus a bottle of sparkling water. There is a fridge but not stocked with anything. Next door to the hotel is a Tesco Metro grocery store. The wifi worked well and there was a desk to do some work from. The bathroom had a shower in the bathtub with reasonable pressure. Toiletries provided were Pecksniff's, not a brand I have heard of. Additionally there were wall we're wall mounted Lux washes, shower gel and shampoo. The room was quiet until flights started to depart from City Airport, the hotel is relatively close to the airport and in direct line of the runway. The first couple of flights woke me up but I was able to fall back to sleep. The weak side to the hotel was breakfast which I found a little underwhelming. Nothing wrong with it but would have liked more fruit. Would I stay here again? Yes if the price is below £90 including breakfast. I paid £86.40.

Went for some food in here last night. The bar area is large and does feel relaxing. I ordered the mushrooms and butternut squash in puff pastry case with some cauliflower cheese which was delicious. Will definitely be back!

Just arrived safely back home after a fantastic stay at the crowne plaza, very clean hotel not noisey at night staff very helpful and pleasant felt very welcome especially by Samantha and team definitely be back and if your looking to go to o2 this the hotel just a 10 min ride away by Emirates airline see yous soon guys

I stayed here on business for 5 nights when visiting London ExCel. This hotel was really more than I hoped for. Rooms were spacious and clean. Staff was nice and welcoming. There was a gym and pool area for visitors to use. Breakfast was good typical British breakfast with a lot of sausages, bacon and eggs, but don't expect too much greens ;) Location is very good if visiting ExCel or O2 arena. To the city you have to take DLR and tube to get there, but it's doable. Takes about 1h 20mins from Heathrow airport by public transport if all goes on time. Would visit here again!

Stayed here for 3 nights for business. If you are in town for business - specifically for an event at the Excel Exhibit Center - this hotel is great. Clean / new-ish / close to the Exhibit Centre. Rooms were clean / good service. Phone in room was busted so i ended up going to the restaurant downstairs - same menu as room service / food was ok but not too many options in the area... If you are looking to stay for leisure, its a but of a ride to city centre so i would recommend something closer.

I contracted a chest infection while staying at the hotel and the staff were wonderful. They went out of their way to regularly check up on me, providing little extras such as honey, lemon & ginger toddies and bowls of fresh fruit. The whole team, from front office staff, Kenisha and Robert, to the Food & Beverages team, Samantha and Helkin and of course the manager, Viktor, were all tremendous. A huge thank you to all.
