I booked this hotel via booking.com website in January for a date in November they took the money straight away even though we should have paid at the hotel on the day of arrival, I questioned this at the time and they said it was for an easier check in. Last week booking.com contacted me to say the booking has been cancelled by the hotel as they had over booked many rooms!! Booking.com have been trying to get the money back for me but the hotel is not responding. Booking.com has been very helpful. The hotel has not even contacted me to say the booking has been cancelled. Do not book with this hotel.

This place is basic but handy. It was hard to find as it is in a house without proper signage. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. The ground floor location and a large fan kept the temperature down, despite a very hot day. The bed was comfortable. No safe but it did have tea/coffee. Wifi was OK. The bathroom was small but clean and functional. Convenient for a pre-flight night. Basic but clean.

Do not be duped by this so called hotel. This is NOT a hotel it is a house that has three rooms with the smallest ensuite imaginable. You have to squeeze past the basin and try and sit on the toilet sideways. And don’t even get me started on the shady fella running this dump he couldn’t wait to get the money out of us before we got our rooms. Do yourselves a BIG,BIG favor and stay clear of scam money grabbing sleazy dump.

What a terrible place. Dirty bathroom, damp everywhere, pink shower walls from body fat. Disgusting! Couldnt pay by card so owner sent us to airport to cash machine. Gross place amd extremely overpriced. Dont visit.

I actually didn't even go in. One look at the outside put me off. It looked very run down with dirty windows that could probably due with replacing. There is no way this is a hotel. I found somewhere else to stay.

It’s only my third time to use this airport but am definitely loving it. Though it can get really crowded but it is very central if you are in London. Very convenient to in and to get out with the tube station right beside it. You can just see why it is so packed with business people at peak times. Truly covenient for short trips in and out of London City.

this place is disgusting, the room had no radiator there was faeces in the toilet and around it, also the toilet brush was covered in it, the shower was covered in rust, there was one blanket in room, the window was smashed, the glasses were thick with mould. NOW lets start on the owner. he has scammed me from money, the hotel is a dump and he had the cheek to accuse me of stealing a glass (which was thick mold when i arrived) he's been calling my phone telling me there was cctv In the BEDROOM and how he was sending people to my address to beat me , this place is a disgrace and shouldn't be around DO NOT STAY HERE

Booked this hotel from booking.com didn’t realise it’s not a hotel it’s like a hostel. Room is dirty and found a snail crawling on the floor. Bathroom is dirty. Bathroom ceiling is leaking water dripping continuously .. I called the manager and I was told that he was making his way to see what the problem is but didn’t turned up and no one around to assist ..what a waste of money !!!😡🙄I would never recommend this place to anyone I fact this place should be shut down .

This place is definately not a hotel. It is a dirty, unloved, poorly maintained house close to the airport. My room had clean bedding but that was about it. The TV didn't work, there was lots of dust and we'll all know what dust is, everywhere especially being the bedside table, found when plugged phoned in. Shower was cold, and a huge slug came out of the drain, bleach has been thrown about the shower but not properly cleaned. Was told card machine was not working so had to pay cash, guess because they don't have a card machine. I have asked for full refund and nothing heard since. If I was flying back to City I would be round making a racket. STAY AWAY DO NOT GO THERE ITS REALLY REALLY BAD.

I can see that the reviews are terrible. I chose it because it was the closest to the City airport. I never checked in the airport because when I said that I would have checked at 1am (I was connecting from Gatwick) they decided to cancel the booking in my face! Never happened in my life! I will make sure they are stripped of their licence.
