I have stayed in this Hilton before and it was terrific in the past. Pleased to say that hasn't changed. Got room 1818, a Mayfair Suite which had a separate living area and work space. Check in was excellent and service at the breakfast buffet was quick and very good. For business or pleasure this is a first rate hotel in a great location by Hyde Park Corner tube station.
We recently stayed at the London Hilton Park Lane to celebrate my wife's birthday. The hotel provided an excellent service with a comfortable room, friendly staff and nice food to make the occasion special.
The room was freezing the heating didn’t work The adjoining means the noise comes into your room And he was talking all night God knows who to which kept me awake all night Location is excellent but is it worth the value?
I had the opportunity to stay here for a night and views from the bar and the Room were definitely stunning. Due to a corporate event the Excutive Lounge was closed and the breakfast seemed more busy than usual. Location is excellent if you like Arab or Lebanese food. Good choice in walking distance.
If you are a smoker you will enjoy this Hotel as my room was full of smoke from the room above service was rubbish hotel needs full refurbishment staff don't understand english not very help full never take any thing out of the Mini bar as they will charge you even if you return it as we did ordered a average bottle pink fizz for daughters birthday we went out and the sent up the most expensive bottle they had £480 a bottle asked have a digital itemised bill sent to me never arrived crazy place
I have booked 5 rooms with the Hilton group recently and unfortunately the Park Lane experience was a long way from the best. The room was tired (room 915) with hooks hanging off, ill fitted doors and generally needing a refit (the room was very clean), and when we checked in it was a basic "there's the key", with no explanation of where the room was, breakfast times etc. This is not the case at the other Hilton where we got an upgrade, a superb and friendly check in and a superb room. When We stay in Park Lane it will be a different hotel or after the Hilton has had a refurb and some staff cs training. 6/10
Location is fantastic for those wanting to be central. The staff are fantastic and great with the kids. Breakfast is good and has a wide variety on offer. Recommend upgrading to the refurbished rooms as they are much better. We had to king rooms which are a good size and have great views of London.
As part of the package received access to the executive club. The service, selection of complimentary food and drink was impressive. Self service breakfast the following morning was excellent, none of the mad rush in the main restaurant. The service was very good, managed to get access to the room at about 12 did not expect that, the parking was also east (if you drink very slow). The room, was comfortable as I was staying alone was enough space and the welcome card, fruit bowl, sparking water and pastry was very enjoyable. All in all real good stay and with all the extras actually became value for money dare I say at just shy of £500, well the location has a lot to do with the price.
Stayed at Hilton park lane using a “be our guest” voucher after a bad experience at Hilton in the US. A king room is what I booked, we got 2 singles pushed together. After an hour or so in the room we noticed things such as dirty carpet and walls, towel rail hanging off the wall, lamp shade falling apart, stuff hanging out of the air con unit! We thought this isn’t good enough, even for a free night (would have cost £342!) After a phone call and being passed from pillar to post and being cut off my partner spoke to Sergio who assured us he would sort us out a better room, he didn’t disappoint!! All the staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. The only thing that lets the hotel down was the room. I would not return to this hotel if I was paying for it, the original room we experienced was on level with premier inn (or maybe even worse!)
When you stay in a hotel such as The Hilton, Park Lane you expect honesty and integrity. My partner left jewellery and expensive hair straighteners in the room by mistake and when we got home we then phoned up the hotel to ask if they could let us have them back. Unfortunately the items had disappeared from the locked room and mysteriously vanished. Lucky room cleaners!
