You are ideally located In the Heart of Notting Hill, where you will find the World-famous Portobello Market on your doorstep just 5 minutes’ walk down the road. Also The Notting Hill Bookshop, made famous by the film Notting Hill, is on the same street as the apartment.
Portobello market stretches for over two miles and is best known for its antique vendors selling anything from furniture, clothing to collectibles.
The apartment itself is located next to the Antiques and Fruit & Veg sections of the Market. Expect to see a variety of antiques and collectibles from all around the world and dating from Roman times to the 1960s. With hundreds of market stalls, shops, arcades, cafés and restaurants.
The market is at its busiest on a Saturday with its Secondhand Flea Market where you’ll find vintage clothing, jewellery, books, and music – and Acklam Village Market with its international food stalls, bar and free live music (also family friendly).
At the northern end of the market is Golborne Road Market, which is a very well-known area to the locals for its thriving Portuguese and North African communities. There are an eclectic mix of international food stalls, restaurants from everyday cafes to upscale cuisine, second-hand and vintage wares, architectural antiques, fashion boutiques.
Other areas within the proximity of the neighbourhood includes Westbourne Grove, best known for its trendy & niche boutique stores as well as popular restaurants such as Beach Blanket Babylon, Ottolenghi and 202 Westbourne Grove - and the Walmer Castle Pub (on Ledbury Road).
The local area includes a variety of trendy bars and gastro pubs to name a few such as The Westbourne, The Cow, The Elgin, UKAI, The Oak, The Ginstitute.

Great Location
After my first booking was cancelled at the last minute by another Homeaway flat, I wound up booking this apartment. Lucky me, This place was great. The pictures were an exact representation of what we received. The flat was spotless ,the beds were comfortable with gloriously white and cool hotel bed sheets. Marvelous! The neighbours were quiet as was the neighbourhood and access to the tube was quick and easy. There is a Tesco and Sainsburys near by, so no long hauls back from the grocery store. Clifford had an amazing To Do File in the flat which completely impressed both my daughter and me. It was chock full of suggestions and directions to anything and everything. This was a good choice for us and I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Notting Hill Getaway
This was a great apartment for my family (2 adults and 2 children) to stay during our trip to London. Close to tube stations, clean and quiet. Clifford was very responsive and made sure everything went well from the check-in to tourist suggestions and tips on getting around. I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a home base for a trip to London!

A lovely stay in Notting Hill
The flat is perfectly reflected in the photos. No surprises. It's clean, comfortable and in a lovely location. Clifford is easily accessible by phone or email. Using the Oyster transit card and the app City Mapper, we got everywhere we wanted to go with ease. Sometimes the walk to the bus or Underground might be up to 13 minutes but it was fine for us. It was nice to leave busy London after a day of sightseeing and return to quaint, quiet, Notting Hill. We would happily return.

Perfect and Pristine in a Quiet Neighborhood
This place was perfect! It was pristinely clean and looked exactly as it was on the listing. Clifford was extremely accommodating and friendly, making sure all of our needs were met (which is quite a task with our family of 6- including four children ages 6 and under). We loved the location, as it was an easy walk to public transit (the tube, etc...) and it was nestled in a quiet and clean neighborhood. It beyond suited all of our needs and we would definitely stay here again!

Location worked well for us to get to from Heathrow via underground and into other parts of London by bus or underground. Short walk to bus stop.

Wonderful Apartment in Notting Hill!
This apartment was perfect for our stay in London. The apartment is very cute, clean and well appointed. The apartment is located in the wonderful Notting Hill neighborhood which means you're close to amazing food and shopping. The apartment is a bit of a walk to the nearby tube stations but Notting Hill is such a lovely place, you don't mind it.
Clifford was a wonderful host and very communicative. We will not hesitate to stay at this property again during our next visit to London.

Mooi appartement in Nottinghill
Het appartement is schoon en goed te bereiken vanaf de metro. De bedden zijn prima, maar wel smal (140 cm). Onder het appartement is een leuke gelegenheid om te ontbijten. Communicatie met Clifford verliep heel soepel. Keyless entry is wel onpersoonlijk maar functioneerde prima. Volgende keer Londen komen we.hier zeker terug.

Die Wohnung ist sehr zentral und sehr ruhig gelegen. Es ist alles da was man braucht.
Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war sehr gut. Die Wohnung ist nett eingerichtet und mit 4 Personen gut nutzbar. Man kann verschiedene UBahn Stationen durch kurze Spaziergänge in der sehr schönen und unaufgeregten Gegend von Notting Hill erreichen. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen.

Absolut empfehlenswert!
Die Wohnung ist ruhig gelegen, dabei trotzdem verkehrsgünstig. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind bequem in 8 (Bus) bis 15 (Underground) Minuten zu erreichen.
Das Viertel Notting Hill/Portobello bietet mit zahlreichen Einkaufs- und Restaurantoptionen in Gehreichweite ausreichend Alternativen, wenn man nur noch mal "kurz um die Ecke" oder abends nicht noch einmal ins Londoner Zentrum fahren möchte.
Die Wohnung selbst ist für den Aufenthalt mit vier Personen sehr gut ausgestattet. Alle Ausstattungsmerkmale die angegeben sind, können wir bestätigen, schnelles WiFi inklusive. Alles war sehr sauber und in einem ausgezeichneten Zustand!
Der Kontakt mit dem Vermieter war angenehm und ließ sich jederzeit schnell und zuverlässig herstellen, wobei wir ihn im wesentlichen nur brauchten, um bei der Anreise per Fern-Freischaltung initialen Zutritt zur Wohnung zu erhalten.
Für uns war diese Unterkunft eine rundum gelungene Sache! Wir werden definitiv wiederkommen!

So soll es sein!
Die Wohnung überzeugt durch Lage und Ausstattung. Es fehlt nichts, die Möbel sind hochwertig, geschmackvoll eingerichtet und ruhig gelegen, obwohl man fussläufig mittendrin ist. Der Vermieter Clifford ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit und war sogar des Öfteren vor Ort und hat den Müll entsorgt. Außerdem ist er über WhatsApp erreichbar und antwortet innerhalb weniger Minuten.
In der Wohnung liegt eine Mappe mit Empfehlungen, die wirklich echt gute Empfehlungen sind, besonders wenn es um Restaurants geht. Da hat sich jemand richtig Mühe gegeben.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!
