I always look for good reviews before booking and Aptel East lived up to its well deserved high score. Lovely staff at reception. Beautifully presented and clean room and en-suite with toiletries and nice towels. Whitechapel station and bus stops close by. We were attending a conference at St Mary's so it was ideal for us. This is a multi-cultural area and it was nice NOT to be faced with the usual chains of retailers. Would definitely return and highly recommend to others.

Great Central London stay

The overall stay was good; the television reception needs improving - channels were scrambling all the time. The location was greet; near 3 major tubes that connected to all major lines; bus transportation was right out the door and the area was hospitable and inviting. Close to a variety of eating establishment, and the neighborhood was walkable.

Affordable apartment about ten minutes from Aldgate East and Whitechapel tube stations. Family room had two double beds rather than a sofa bed which we greatly appreciated :)

Hotel is not in the cleanest area, but it has its vibe and I actually liked that. There is shop nearby, a lot of restaurants and places where you can eat nice breakfast. Easy to get with metro or bus. Check in was very easy, reception is 24/7 available, towels in the room, we had a really nice view from top floor, with really nice vibe. Fridge is in the room, shower, toilet. Pillows could be a little bit bigger. Personel is really helpful and friendly. Most important, everything was clean, 10/10!

The staff were wonderful—very friendly and helpful. The room was exceptionally clean, and the entire place was quiet and well-maintained. The surrounding area is filled with restaurants and supermarkets, and public transportation (buses and trains) is just a short walk away. For Muslim travelers, there's a large and beautiful mosque only five minutes away on foot.

Excellent condition, nothing to compare about the room. Did not like the breakfast as the lady working at the cafe did not tell me I can get hot breakfast. Instead I ended up with a cold sandwich. Plus Hotels.com charged me for two breakfasts while the hotel only has given me one coupon. So don’t purchase the breakfast 👍
