“Some construction work going on.” Ha

They are doing construction work in the hotel from 10 am till 4 pm. I was trying/hoping to get quiet work done in my room. The sound peaked at 85 db which, bless them, is just below the level you should wear hearing protection… I enquired at reception and they consoled me by agreeing it was loud and it had been going on for 6 months. 6 months! How about accepting you can’t provide the basics of a hotel at full capacity while you’re doing renovations. At least mention it on the listings.

Hotel is going through renovations so no bar downstairs. Stayed in a new room which is a nice update to the original hox, no change to bathroom which I think is a miss as could do with an update
