The Orchard

B&B that is worth the visit

The owner is charming and knowledgeable. The area is stellar and the room was clean, quiet and well worth the price. Breakfast was good, nothing spectacular, but a very good start to the day.

Dunraven Arms Hotel

I'll Stay at the Airport Next Time

My wife and I spent two and a half weeks seeing the western coast of Ireland. We chose to end our trip (this past week) near Shannon for convenience but could not get in to Adare Manor (found out it was closed for 2 years for a new owner to "restore" it.....that is another story) so we reserved 4 nights at Dunraven Arms. We were surprised at the relatively low cost, but when compared to other hotels at the same price point it was still disappointing. For a Small Luxury Hotel establishment it is even more disappointing. We both thought that the staff was in need of some real training from someone who knew about good service (attempting to clear one diner's plate while the other was still eating). We walked into the "pub" for a drink and dinner to find 9 other people already there and waited 15 minutes before one of the 4 young men working the bar took a drink order. The general condition of the hotel is "tired" and that is being kind. The best thing about the location is that it is only 30 minutes from Shannon Airport

Absolute Hotel Limerick

Nice hotel

This is a nice hotel and the rooms are pretty comfortable. We just stayed a few nights and it served it's purpose. Clean comfortable and the staff were friendly. The breakfast at the Absolute Grill was fantastic!

Ash Hill B&B

Beautiful, historic home!

We arrived late, and Nichole was gracious about quickly showing us to our room so we could get to bed. The home is gorgeous, especially considering its age. We truly enjoyed our stay and would love to come back.
