I travel often but this is the best customer service I have to date! When I called on the phone to say I would not be able to come on my arrival date because of the snow the girl on the phone was excellent in helping me sort my travel dates around , check in was a pleasure as well as the girl followed up on the telephone help that was offered and helped me when the app I was using was playing up she couldn't have been more helpful and welcoming! As well as this brilliant service the hotel is in a great location just round the corner from the bus/train station and a short walk from city centre , taxis and buses , the hotel food is great and the bed is the best!!! Enjoyed my visit to the city and the service is top notch thanks a lot!!!! Regards Steven.
I had the pleasure of having a lovely meal with great service at Perys Hotel over the weekend and I would highly recommend it. The outside of the hotel looks a little bit dated so don’t be put off by it and if I was staying in Limerick In future I would consider it. Lovely food and service if your in Limerick don’t miss it.
I recently had the misfortune of being in the Pery hotel after a recent family mass ,there was maybe 25 of us arrived in for Tea,Coffee and maybe a soup and sandwich and of course a beer or two ,on arrival to the bar we we told as it was 27th of December there would be no food available as no staff on due to the holiday season (being a hotel i was thinking this was a bit odd as what are the people staying in the hotel going to eat )so we ordered our drinks anyways after a few drinks some of our group filtered out to get food in a nearby establishment but returned ,as i was drinking coffee i noticed a lot more than most.As it was early when we arrived (1:30pm)we overlooked the fact that the bar manager had no change in the till, but the service went downhill rapidly ,We were left standing at the bar for service ,No heating turned on,no clearing of glasses from tables as i had to do it myself and as one of my family members was wheelchair bound found it astonishing that the disabled toilet was out of order but the kicker for me was after about 4 hours of taking our money at the bar the bar manager asked us to keep down the noise as it was upsetting 2 other customers in the outside bar area ,i might add that at this stage there was myself my wife and her parents and her aunt and uncle left and obviously that wouldn't amount to a lot of noise pollution .We decided to leave shortly afterwards and will NOT be returning again
Whilst this hotel has a central location it is in dire need of refurbishment. The inside is as grim and run down as the outside of the hotel. I recently stayed there and the room was quite dirty. Stains on the carpet, accumulated dirt in the bathroom not being clearly cleaned properly or regularly. The bedroom was not ready when I arrived at 16h30. It is sub standard. As the title states avoid if at all possible.
We were travelling as a group of 18, staying for one night. Every effort was made by reception staff to give us the very best deal and a superb welcome, making life very easy for us. The hotel is comfortable and relaxing, with attentive staff. The duty manager Nick gave us a exclusive eating area for a very late dinner, with a meal that was exceptional with plenty of food generously offered for us all. Nothing was too much trouble for Nick, despite the late hour and an early morning start. Outstanding hospitality and quality!
Came in November on a family trip and stayed for 2 nights. it was very cold and wet and the central heating didn’t work at all, so we were freezing! The bar area is tidy enough and the staff are okay, not the friendliest though. Had to pay for breakfast as it wasn’t included and it wasn’t the best breakfast. The rooms are spacious and tidy enough but very VERY dated - old net curtains, old lamps (one didn’t have a bulb in!) and a very old fashioned shower. But the beds were really comfortable. People were constantly running up and down the corridors above our room which was frustrating and annoying first thing in a morning.
I stayed here for a weekend and think its well worth recommending from the moment I arrived the staff were very polite and friendly the hotel was spotless the corridors were so clean all the carpets looked like New then when I got to the room all I could think of was how wrong people were in there reviews every thing looked New and spotless from the bed linen to the bathroom huge tv to watch the x factor on how lucky was I with coffee and tea on standby room was tastefully decorated and did not hear a sound all night have stayed in more expensive property but this was the best for value and definately the cleanest if you want the whole package without been robbed this is the deal
We had an overnight stay in Pery's Hotel. It is located in a central area and there is parking nearby although I wouldn't like to be in the car park alone. Check in was fine but as we walked to our room there was a strong smell of sewage. The room itself didn't smell and, while basic, was sufficient. The breakfast next morning was poor, almost no choice and was eaten in the bar area. Don't think I'll be back
myself and friend stayed there 9 to 11 of october we stay about 4 times a year reception staff really great and friendly nice food breakfast is very good room 108 big and clean and warm just nice place to relax a big thank you to briget who is just great
Staff were wonderful from check in to check out. Nicholas, Johnathon, James, Aaron, all were great. Rooms were spacious with lovely comfortable beds. Breakfast was good. Entertainment Fri and Sat was very good, especially Baldy John. Late bar for residents until 3am Fri and 4am Sat nights. We are asked quite nicely and politely to go to bed on Sun morning!! Only so many sing songs the bar staff can bear. We had lunch and dinners at the hotel, and the food was excellent on every occasion. Seafood Chowder was to die for, steaks were cooked to perfection, and roasts were lovely. No frozen food here, all freshly prepared. Hotel is very central also, to good bars and restaurants. It’s now our HQ for when we visit Limerick!!!
