I had an excellent view. The staff were wonderful.
We stayed here for an overnight stay. Great location. Limerick city is a buzzing spot. Will return.
Hotel has seen better days! Our electronic door lock didn't work. Some issue with the battery. Instead of fixing it or moving us to a different room, we were explained to pound on the lock each time before inserting the key card...
This hotel is currently undergoing a VERY much needed renovation. The unsavory smells, stains on the carpet, filthy windows and signs posted everywhere that they are NOT responsible for stolen belongings does not afford guests the security and relaxation the deserve while on holiday. During the renovation the rates should be much lower than they are.
Couldn't beat the price of this hotel. It was a third of the Jury's Inn prices in Galway and Dublin-although a little more dated. Centrally located in the city. Staff was pleasant.Would stay again if I visited Limerick again.
We stayed two nights at the Limerick City Hotel and found it to be perfect for our needs. Centrally located; comfortable; great view of the river from our room; friendly and ultra helpful staff. I would definitely stay here again!
Staff very efficient and helpful. Parking convenient ! Dining is a short walk!
The Limerick City Hotel was recently purchased from Jury's and is undergoing a much needed major renovation. Our room was on the sixth floor, offering a beautiful view of the Shannon, however the elevator only goes to the fifth floor; you have to walk up one flight of stairs. The room must not have been stayed in for a while. The shower faucet was very difficult to turn ( required full force of two hands) but they replaced it immediately. The carpet and television needed to be replaced. The staf was very helpful and the price is right plus it is very conviently located near SNN.
