Besides the reasonable price, we picked this hotel because it was near the Civic Center Plaza where we were attending an event and easy to get to from the airport on the BART, Was comfortable and clean and adequate for our needs.
Great hotel, nice facilities. Pool is very nice. Impeccable service, really top, whater you want or need, service is top. Food is excellent and room service is top. A little noisy in the streets, and you ear it even on the 19th floor, but the whole area is like this...
Positives: - Location was excellent, close to Bart, Market street, short 15 min walk to the Ferry Marketplace - Computer system was down when I checked in, so the staff automatically upgraded me to a SPG level - Room is spacious and comfortable - Staff is very responsive - WiFi was complementary ...
Wonderful location, right in the heart of Union Square. The location is the best you can get. Would stay here again just for the location. The rooms are small but clean and refurbished. Be prepared to pay an extra hotel fee of aprox 28 USD a night.

Friendly staff and walking distance to many restaurants and bars.Room was adequate and clean. Would stay there again.
Pretty good. Could have inclyded breakfast for the price.
Comfortable beds, very nice staff, central location and good rates. Nowhere in SF where you won't see LOTS of homeless, so can't knock them for the many homeless on their street. I suggested they add handicap handles as their deep tubs are great for baths, but dangerous to get in and out of for showers. They told me they were working on upgrades and would consider my suggestion, so they are definitely listening. The only other issue was the bed frames needed adjusted, I mentioned that to them too.
Had a great room on the 23rd floor with 180 degree views of South San Francisco, Union Square and Coit Tower and the Bay to the Left. Room was very spacious especially for S.F with comfortable bed, Nice towels and amenities with coffee maker and nice glass cups to use. Only negative was the bed spread seemed which was white seemed a touch on the dirty, not filthy just starting to look a little on the dull side like it needed its semi-annual cleaning. Hotel was in beautiful shape with clean floors, clean public restrooms, nice pictures telling the story of the hotel on the walls, and there was water available in the lobby that was flavored with oranges, lemons, or other fresh fruit in season. Staff was friendly, helpful and very informative about activities in and around the S.F area. Will stay here again !!
