Property is getting a little dated and could use some TLC. Staff was friendly. Hair dryer did not work and maintnenace replaced it promptly. Very limited dining options for lunch. Buffet used to be open for lunch but now closed. Remaining options are mediocre, I will go off premise next time for lunch.

Appeared that room had been previously occupied without cleaning. Only two bath towels provided when most other sites offer four. Despite having coffee-maker in room there were no mugs/cups, not even one glass for a drink of water. Small things make the difference.

Upon first arrival: "Hello, welcome to Harrah's! Can I have your credit card please because we charge you $16 per day for a basic amenity fee." Hotel was ok, but I think it's ridiculous that Harrah's charges you for basic amenities you are given for free at other places. At the very least, just wrap the amenity fee into the overall price. I guess even if you don't go to the casino, they are still going to scam you.

put hold of 230 on my card no idea how I'm going to get home because the hold takes several days

We didn't do well in the casino but the hotel, room and all the staff we met were very good! We will be happy to stay there again on our next trip through Kansas City.

fourth time here and it remains a somewhat neglected property. Room carpets dirty in every case but remainder of room is clean. Broken tile in the marble foyer by the elevators. Elevator floors always dirty but that is about it for the downside over all decent value still.

It was great for what I needed it for. Needed a place to rest for a couple hours and the room was comfortable and clean. I really enjoy this property and have stayed a number of times. The value is great.

This hotel is showing its age. The rooms are generally dirty (we were in two during our stay). Everything feels like 1980 - down to the valance that hangs above the bathtub. The housekeeping staff treated my wife very poorly when she tried to request 1 additional bath towel for our room (King rooms come with 2 bath towels, 2 hand towels, and 1 washcloth). Bathroom amenities included one small shampoo bottle and one small bar of soap. I think they provide more at budget chains, like Super 8 and Motel 6.
