We stayed at the Waikiki Resort Hotel from January 17–20. The location is great and close to everything, and the hotel was very clean. You do get what you pay for, though, as the property is a bit run down and could use upgrades.
Our room on the 9th floor was small for three people but had a semi-separated layout, two balconies, and a small fridge, microwave, and sink area, which was convenient. The bathroom is tiny and needs updating.
One downside was noise — our room was right next to the elevator, and we could hear it running all night along with housekeeping going in and out and slamming doors.
Overall, the location and cleanliness were the best parts, but I’m not sure I’d stay again unless renovations are done
